- Interests: When she was young her time was always taken up with studying magic but she did have a joy for dancing. Unfortunately after the incident which happened she lost a lot of interest in dancing.
- Quirks: Scared of being touched, she is quite powerful and quite docile
- Religion: Lost any hope of there being a god a long time ago.
- Psychological background: Despite all things that have happened she is still a pleasant young female. If she ever feels she is free or at least in good hands she will brighten up and become sociable, something she has not been in a while!
General history: Sapphire was born in a time long ago in the land of Atlantis. There she was a happy child with happy parents who were overjoyed when it was discovered that their only daughter had the capacity to wield magic. She was an unusually bright but the parents could not afford to send her to school so when the most powerful wizard of the city Kroath asked to take her as an apprentice they were just as happy. He was after all the most powerful wizard of the Atlantean and loved by all the people there. Little did they know of his dark secret?
The parents were warned that they may never see their daughter again and as such did not notice when she did not write or visit, I mean this was expected. For her the first several years were very eventful but not in a bad way. She was raised as a happy apprentice who was absorbing all the lessons he threw at her at an accelerated rate. She had free run of the house as long as she stayed out of the basement. For in the basement is where the great evil he did took place. It was on her 16th birthday when she was finally going to graduate that he said she was ready to see what was down there. She will never forget that night and to this day still has nightmares about it.
Down in the basement he convinced her to be strapped to a table for a ceremony he said his mentor performed on him. Having no reason to doubt him she did so. It was when the shackles held her in place that this all changed. What happened next could only be described to the strongest of hearts. It involved many rituals over several days, being cut, drained of blood and slowly what seemed like being killed over the time. Death would have been preferable to what was left. Her soul had been bound to a rare black star sapphire and she was now the immortal golem who was forced to obey whoever wore the enchanted ring. However whoever put on the ring could not take it off tell they sold the golem to someone else.
Over the next years she was the slave in all aspects to the wizard. From simple stuff to the degrading and demeaning like hooking for his guests. The only thing that kept her going was that one day he would die or finally release or kill her. That day did come an unknown amount of time later when he was finally able to replicate the spell that created sapphire. A week later she was being auctioned off; thankfully although it was painful she was returned to her stone shape after she was bought. Unknown to her was when she was put in the box the auction was raided. Not marked down on the case of what she was she was actually lost in time, even she does not know what happened. She will not regenerate again until someone puts on the ring becoming her new owner.
