Kendall appeared in the doorway two rooms in, in front of a steel door. His eyes seemed to be glowing," We will not let him go." He began to chant in another language. At the same time, Solomon was chanting in the same language, far quicker.

Alice looks at Kendall and then back at Solomon, not really understanding magic or what she was supposed to do. She moves back, trying to stay out of the way, prepared to use telekinesis on Kendall if she has to.

Solomon stopped his chanting first just as Jason unleashed a blast of energy at Kendall, who had unleashed a bolt of lightning at Jason. Jason cringed as the bolt hit, but it seemed to dissipate against a energy field.
Kendall hadn't been quite as lucky, but he had taken Jason's blast without flinching.
Jason fired again, but missed. " This is gonna take a while."

Alice nods at Jason quietly and focues on Kendall, attempting to use TK to move him out of the way of the doorway so she can get through.

Kendall was nudged aside, and immediately began prepping another spell. Solomon unleashed one of his own, but again the results were unclear. Jason fired another bolt of energy that missed and slammed against the metal door Kendall was protecting.

Alice starts to move closer to Kendall, using TK again to move him aside so she can try to get to the door to see what is inside the room.

Kendall was off balance from Alice's TK, but his blast still struck Jason head on, knocking him down. " Alice, I can't go toe to toe with that for long, even with whatever Solomon cast on me." Jason said as he got back to his feet.

Alice simply nods at Jason as she uses telepathy to say to him 'We need to get him away from the door. I'm trying to move him' An idea hits her and she asks Solomon telepathically 'Can't you do whatever you did with Null so he wasn't able to move or attack us?'

Solomon looked at Alice as another lightning bolt sizzled past Jason, barely missing. " I have tried, but it is not as simple against a non-spelluser. Also his use of the term 'we' bothers me. I cannot sense anyone other than Kendall, but he is much more powerful than he had been."
Jason fired back, slamming Kendall with little effect

Alice sighs and shakes her head 'I need a vacation' she thinks to herself. Out loud, she says to Solomon "I don't know anything about magic. Could someone be giving him more power or something?" Getting frustrated, she starts moving closer to Kendall, using all her psychic strength to shove Kendall out of the way of the door so they can see whatever it is that he is guarding. (using 300 lbs of pressure to move him out of the way=30 isp)

" Yes. in fact I think that is what is going on." With Kendall shoved aside, Alice could see a large vault like door. suddenly Jason dropped to the ground, writhing in pain. " Yuri!" Solomon said," Yuri is behind this. He was one of the other guild leaders that survived the massacre. He must be controlling the boy. We need to knock him unconscious to break the connection."

Alice sighs to herself. She hadn't realized that when William had taught her this little trick that she'd be using it as much as she was. Looking alarmed when Jason drops to the ground looking like he's in pain, she immediately starts putting pressure on Kendal's throat, hoping to simply knock him unconscious but not kill him so they can break the connection between him and this Yuri person Solomon was talking about.

After a brief moment, Kendall went down. Solomon rushed to Jason's side and muttered something that brought Jason out of his convulsions. Sol looked at him as he helped Jason up," You have powerful friends."
Jason grinned, and winked at Alice, " The force is strong in this one."

Alice, who had never seen the Star Wars movies, realized Jason was making some kind of joke and smirked back at him. Getting back to business, she says heading toward the vault door "Let's see what he was protecting so fiercely."

" I'll keep an eye on our friend here." Jason said, recovering from the Agony spell.
Solomon went with Alice to the vault door, studying it. There seemed to be no handle, but when sol touched it, the door opened. Inside sat a jar on a pedestal, with a strange mist swirling inside.
