Solomon stepped forward placing a hand on Jason's shoulder trying to calm him down "Jason, please listen. even if you're right, beating him to a bloody pulp won't solve anything. if there is some kind of tracking device implanted inside you, I might be able to help fix that. if you don't trust Mr. MacCoulter then trust us. we're your friends."

Alice moves so that Jason can see her and says Jason's name loudly to try to get his attention. "JASON! Look at me!" Once he is looking at her, she tries to calm him down by saying "I read his mind, Jason! He's telling you the truth! Now, please, stop this and we'll try to figure out what is really going on."

Jason released Dylin, and then locked his fingers behind his head in frustration and groaned. " Dylin... I,"
MacColter cut him off. " No need to apologize, son. I would have assumed the same thing. I will do the best I can to find out where it came from while you three deal with our lost soul I beleive Janie is calling Nathaniel's prediciment. do you have anyplace to start?""
Though Dylin had forgivin Jason, it didn't do much for his attitude switch.

Solomon's face dropped again "unfortunately, no. apparently, Nathaniel's consciousness is being suppressed as Alice wasn't able to reach him either. I'm quickly running out of options, but I appreciate your trying to help us."

Though still in a funk, Jason pointed out, " Your friend must have enemies. What about rivals amongst the Guild, or another Guild. Or a disgruntled protoge." The last one he shot a sideways glance at Dylin, who ignored him.
Jason's last comment jogged solomon's memory. The young survivor, Kendall, hadn't Nathanial rejected him when petitioned to be his apprentice because the young man had shown to be unstable?
" dylin," Janie's voice came over the house's intercomm, " I need you in the war room right away."
Dylin looked at Alice, " I leave this in your capable hands. Good luck." He said and headed towards the stairs. Jason didn't look impressed Dylin was escaping him.

Solomon gritted his teeth "Kendall, that little weasel! of course! why didn't I put it together sooner?" he explained looking at the others. "he was the only other survivor besides Nathaniel and Yuri when Avi and myself arrived at the guild. Nathaniel refused to apprentice him early on, but it just doesn't make sense. he's less adept than I am. how could he have that kind of power? unless ... " Solomon trails off going pale in thought almost whispering hoarsely" ... unless he made a pact with something much stronger ... "

Alice shakes her head at Jason. "You don't need to suit up. We were all wearing street clothes in the vision."
When Solomon realizes this Kendall person may have had something to do with his friend's condition, she nods and says "Well, now we have a place to start. Do you think you would know where we might be able to find him so we can question him?"

Jason nodded, and then instead offered Alice her jacket. Jason slipped his own that Sierra had made on, " We look more official this way." He smirked, again his mood swinging again.
( GM question: Up to you, banter with Jason a bit to wait for Chrom, or should I mod him to progress things a little? )

Jason could have beat her there, but was content to follow. His eyes darted up to meet Alice's along with a guilty smile as Solomon joined them and got in the car. Jason climbed in the backseat.
The wizard looked at Alice. " Kendall lives in the Highland discrict. Are you familiar with it?"

Alice simply smiles back at Jason before getting into the driver's seat. Nodding at Solomon, she says "Yeah, I've been there before, so I know it a bit." Staring the car, she starts to head in that direction.
