As Solomon waited, Alice found that there were no thoughts once so ever to read. she could tell she was getting through to the older wizard's mind, but it was as if nothing was there. Then, as she started to break the connection, everything before her started to change. she could see herself with Jason and Solomon in a firefight of sorts with a figure protecting some sort of grey box. the figures face was hidden by an oversized hood, but he was just about to reveal himself when the vision was interrupted by Jason entering the room," Hey. Everything's good with Mac. When do we leave?"
[ if Sol has seen a psychic vision before, he recognizes the work of one. Need a perc roll from both of you too]

Though Solomon doesn't pick up on it, Alice noticed that the detector Solomon had started going off just before Jason had come in, and was continuing to pick something up.

Jolted out of her vision, Alice shakes her head a little to get her bearing again. "It's weird, when I tried to read your friend's mind, I couldn't. It was like nothing was there. But then I had a vision. I saw us" Alice points at Solomon and Jason and then at herself, "in some kind of a fire fight with a figure in grey protecting some kind of a box Does that mean anything to either of you?" she asks them.
Pointing at the detector, she asks "What is that? And what is it detecting?"

Solomon looked deflated "it is as I feared then. with his astral tether severed, his conscious mind is suppressed. only his subconscious is keeping his body alive and without the astral tether linking them together, both will die. the figure you describe sounds like the same one I have seen in my own visions. you said he had a box? could be the same one responsible for all this. he could be using that box to keep Nathaniel's essence imprisoned. I'm beginning to suspect this and the attack on my guild are all somehow linked to what we witnessed at City Hall." Solomon turned to look when Alice mentioned the device he'd brought with him from talking to Jason in the other room. "I ... don't know."

Alice looks confused as she says "Well, when I came into the room it didn't seem to detect anything at all. Yet when you came into the room it did. I'm just wondering why that is."

" I don't know." Jason shrugged. " I had got it out to sweep the house again while we wait, but....," his eyes got a pissed off look," Sierra was right." He took the detector and left the room in a blur, shouting," MACCOLTER!"

Alice frowns as Jason runs out of the room yelling for Mac. "What in the...?" she says to herself and starts to follow him, hoping she can find him to figure out what was going on.

When Alice and Solomon ( I'm assuming he followed) catch up to Jason, he had Dylin pinned to the wall by his collar. Jason was irate," Why? Why would you do this to me? Do you really distrust me that much?"
" Let me go, Jason." Mac tried to remain calm. " I diddn't know anything about it."
Bullsh..," he looked at Alice as she entered with Solomon, " They bugged me. sierra was right, Wraith has been able to track me since my surgery. Because they put a bug in me while they had me cut open.." He eyes held a betrayed look.

Alice's eyes widen a little as she regards Mac. "Is this true?" she asks him, as she scans his mind.

" No. Of course not." Dylin struggled, and the scan told Alice he was telling the truth.
Jason still didn't believer him. " You lie. Why else would it be inside me then?"
Alice? Professor?" Mac gasped as Jason pinned him a little tighter," A little help please?"
