Gambit's staff didn't lower, as the Boy Scout' (Gambit allowed an internal chuckle) AIM agent flew over it into the crowd.
"Now, mon ami, it's time you talked." He said, applying the Southerland Velvet on the SHIELD agent. (54% to trust, 39% to charm... I think those are passes, hmm?)

The SHIELD agent paused a moment, before trying to draw a bead on Gambit. He never got the chance as Colossus ploed him with a right cross that leveled him. The SHIELD agent made an unhealthly sound as he went down. Piotr looked at Gambit, " Find us a way to get out of here. We aren't going the way we came."

The agents all get the same smile as the other one and started for their weapons. " The Captain and I are going to be busy covering you." Colossus replied, throwing himself at the approaching SHIELD agents.

Well, it certainly looked like it was the MODOK that was in charge, with the agents all working like automatons.
"Right." He says. "Take my friend. See you in a few." And with that, he scoots away. (Prowl: 7% big pass there) Finding the nearest stairs to the bridge.

Gambit slipped away as Piotr took the SHIELD agents attention by heaving one of them at the growing crowd. Remy finds a stairwell sure enough, but he is a long ways from the bridge.

Gambit continued up the stairs until he could establish that elevators were working. Certainly, the stairs would get him to a level where they might be fewer people.
The bridge still seemed the mostly likely source for the MODOK to be in control of the helicarrier.
Are the elvators working?

Gambit finds the elevators, but they aren't working. He also finds signs of a struggle, with a dead SHIELD trooper in a doorway. He looked to have been slashed to death by something. The intercomm inside the door was activated, and Remy could hear voices coming over it.
"This is weird," "How do you stand all these smells?" Said one voice
You get used to them when you do it all your life." " Once you're used to one, you hardly notice it. Then you focus on what's different." Remy recognized this one. It sounded alot like one of the XMen enemies, Sabertooth.
the next voice confirmed it. " Creed, let Gaby take point when we start moving, and back her up. Between the two of you, anyone we run into should be easy to deal with. I'll be right back."

Remy sighs inside his mind. Sabertooth must be working for AIM. He thinks. This will make things a lot more difficult. Hopefully they didn't recruit Magneto, too.
With a small shrug, he leans over. "Eh, Sabertooth." He says into the comm. "I have a message from Wolverine. Want to claim it?" He says, daringly. "Or do you just want to face what you've done to this poor SHIELD agent?"

"shit!" A somewhat familiar voice said. "I think we just got made. better expect company!" pause "thought I picked up on something."
Then he heard Sabertooth " Lebeau? What the hell is the Cajun doing here?"
He heard something staticy with an unhuman exchange in the background

Gambit was about to answer about undoing the damage he did when he heard the alien voices. Now we have aliens running the show? He says. Intel must be a little sparse on AIM these days. But Sabertooth wouldn't align to them, would he?
"Alright." He says back quickly and quietly. "Find me. I'm on the move."
With a double tap on the com, he heads out again, for the bridge.

Remy sees the blur and, reacting before processing the image, ducks flat to a wall, preferably behind a bulk head, watching to see what sees him. At the same time, he slips a card out of his pocket, ready to charge it.

The blur looked familiar as it had passed through one wall and into another. As he pressed against the wall, he heard a familiar voice hushed and nervous, " Gambit? Remy, is that you?"
[Perc not high enough for him to be sure, but the movement he saw looked like Kitty Pryde/ Shadowcat, and the voice matches]
