Noticing Mar's discomfort with the situation, Sam says "Come with me, if you please, Rosie. I'd like to talk to you for a moment in private." Sam then starts to head off the range, and looks back to make sure Mar is following.

Mariana nods and follows Sam at a close pace. When they're far enough away, she says, quietly, in anticipation of Sam's inquiry, "Yes, he is my father, but no, I don't want anything to do with him. He was never fond of having a psychic as his only daughter. And I cannot honestly say I'm fond of even sharing his DNA." She explains. "He has probably heard I'm not actually dead. Wallace must have mentioned that you were my command." She sighs. "I'm not getting out of this, am I, LT?"

Sam nods quietly at Mariana and replies "It is possible that Colonel Wallace told the General about your presence, but it is just as likely that he is just giving the General a tour of the base. Find a place to lay low for the next few hours, and do not tell anyone, including myself or Shep where you are. That way, if I am asked, I can honestly say I don't know where you are. Meet me at my quarters later this evening. The general will probably be treated to a nice dinner, and probably won't be on the base long, so you should be ok if you are careful." Sam falls quiet and waits for Mar's response.

Mary smiles anxiously glancing a look back at the entourage. "Yes, of course, Lieutennant. I will relay the message." She says, saluting like a corporal, she walks back into the base, looking, in the highest priority, for a shower.

Watching Shep walking one way with the visiting officer and Smith going the other, Rhys scratched his head," Ma'am, what the hell is going on?"
Dyson looked at McCain and chuckled," Maybe we're supposed to run the other two directions?"

McCain smiles at Dyson, "Man, I don't know whats going on and to be honest as long as I get to out and play I don't care." McCain gets back on the line and starts to practice his transisitions."

Sam smiles at Rhys. "Don't worry about it. It's not important. It is so unimportant that it doesn't merit any mention should the party of officers come over to talk to us." Sam then watches to see if the party comes over to where they are.

Nobody pays much attention to Mariana pass through the base down to quarters, and she finds the officer's showers avaiable. On the other hand, the enlisted communal showers were in steady use as always.
" Gotcha ma'am." Rhys nodded and returned to the firing line with McCain.
" Good, can you explain it to me then?" dyson said, scratching his head.
The officer's party never came near. Instead, Shep seemed to have lured them the other way and they evetually dissappeared back into the base.

Mary, wanting a little privacy, found an "out of order" sign, hung on the knob then used the officer's showers.

Sam smiles at Dyson and says softly "Don't worry about it, Dyson." Once the party of officers has left, she'll return her armour and the rifle and head back to her room.

With everyone else leaving, Rhys motioned to McCain. " C'mon, let's get some chow and you can fill me in on what I've missed."
A knock came on the shower door a couple times, but no one forced the locked door as Marianna took her extended shower.
Sam wasn't in her room more than two minutes when Shep let himself in with a grin on his face. " Did she get clear?"

Sam glances over at Shep and nods. "Yeah, she got clear with no problems." She then waits to see if there's anything else that Shep wants.

Eventually, Mary makes her way out of the showers and, taking the "out of order" sign, heads to her room to think about the next step.
