The craft lands an as you disembark, you are hit with the extreme cold (Minus forty, which is the same in both Fahrenheit and Celsius) and blustering snow and ice. The science team sets up its survey and equipment, trying to find the source of the energy readings, while the security detail is on the lookout for any trouble.

Balus slipped on his goggles to keep his eyes clear as he shouldered his gear. He took a deep breath," It is a little brisk, what could ever live in a frozen hellhole like this?"

Krystal throws up her forcefield body armor to keep the snow off of her and her face. It does not block the cold which does not bother her but does keep the wind out and her field of vision clear.
She turns to Balus to respond "Well Big Guy, judging by what you and I are wearing out here I would respond with, I don't know, us Maybe! I mean this is so nice out here! Maybe set up a summer home or something. What do all of you think?"

“Slycer and Balu set up a perimeter at 10 meters well they other get set up” Fuse set his goggles in place as he motions for one to go left and the other right the proceeds to go straight walking careful to keep his footing. Fuse also does a basic radio check to see if the storm and cold are effect the short-range radio equipment.

Kiadan shivers despite herself in the cold weather gear she's wearing. "The electronics won't do well in cold weather like this for long," she says aloud. "Buffer them as best you can. I want read outs on the stars, the soil, any wildlife in the area, plants if we find them," she says loudly. And takes wing to land where the wind isn't quiet so bad. Fuse, you have a hard time getting the radio to work in the cold, and an equally hard time seeing the rest of the crew (except for Balus - his sheer bulk is hard to conceal).
Balus, you see nothing of note except whiteness.
Krystal and Kiadan - you think you see the point where you need to start digging through the ice.

Before moving out into position, Balus replied to Crystal, " A summer home? I thought we all had to pass a psych test to get on the crew?" He smirked as he moved off.Even with his goggles on, he had to cup his hands against the blowing snow to try to see anything, including the others.

"Over here," Kiadan indicates a spot doing her best to hover above a point. "Bring a drill and set up equipment here. This looks like it is our point of entry."

Krystal replying back to Balus "I don't know about the psych evaluation, I mean the Doctor after all..." she trails off with a smirk before turning to Kidian "I see it Doctor!"
Krystal thinking it is probably not fully her type of work but is happy as well to be off the ship goes and gets the drill and heads to the point and starts to drill.

All of you can hear the humming of the ion-powered drill as it bores through the ice, and then you hear a thunderous crash. Krystal and Kiadan see a split-second of metal evaporating, and then you see into some kind of chamber.
Slycer over the radio to Fuse and Balus. "Lieutenant, I think we might have something out here. Got something coming in, on foot, about 2 kilks out, at 30 Degrees west of Magnetic north. Confirm?"

Balus listened to Slycer's call against the howling winds. He listened for the luietenant's orders while pointlessly looking in the direction his partner indicated. " Next time I requisition Thermo imagery goggles." he sputtered.

Krystal instantly scans the area of the metal using all spectrums of light to see if anything could be ascertained by it. "Should we enter Doctor or wait for everyone to arrive?"

Kiadan stares down the hole using her powers of bioluminescence to make her eyes into spot lights peering down into the hole. She descends only a few feet though not enough to actually enter the hole. "No, bring the scout team," she says. "We might awaken something very unfriendly and large.

(Kiadan and Krystal)
Kiadan, you just see that you are in a corridor going a long way at an angle. Krystal, you see nothing in particular.
(Balus and Fuse)
With your binoculars, you can see a part of about a half dozen humanoids in big white furs making their way towards your area on large mounts that vaguely resemble bears. Each of the party is armed with a low-grade automatic submachinegun.

"Some sort of Corridor," Kiadan says aloud. "Architecture unknown, did we bring Jensen?" Kiadan asks. "I thought he said he knew something of structural engineering and architecture." ((OOC: Cause my skills don't cover architecture. ))
