Krystal is finally happy that she is no longer being used as a mode of travel for the Doctor and walks off to a wall to find a panel to see if she can figure out where the energy in this room is coming from. She does waves a bit to Balus to show where she is going. If he follows her she will stick up for him if the lieutenant chews him out.

Balus nodded to fuse, but when Crystal moving away from the rest of the group, his attention shifted at her wave and he shifts his attention to focus on her, trying to figure out what she is up to.

Tycke responds to Kiadan "About ever 4 days - we don't have much room for storage at our camp and we don't want to tip off the military about this place. You spacemen aren't in contact with the central government...are you?" He gulps, more than a hint of fear in his face as he faces Fuse. "Our camp is one of the larger exile groups - maybe 300 in all, plus a few children. They don't like us breeding out here, so we have to hide them or the military will take them back to civilization."
Krystal - you are definitely getting power readings here of some kind.

Krystal walks over to the first panel she finds and pulls it apart to see if she can figure out what this ship is. A atart might be the power source which is feeding this bioluminescence. She thinks to herself while looking at the panel.

"We care nothing for your military," Kiadan says. She smiles slightly. "However we could make it so you never fear for your... civilization." She lets that statement sink in. "We are a science exploration team. If you would like we could take a few of you with us to our captain. Convince him to intercede perhaps for you. Perhaps transport you from this world to another."
Kiadan smiles pleasantly. "And it will give me the time to experiment on some of you to see the effects on this food upon your system," she thinks to herself.

Krystal, the panell is showing some kind of constructs - you arent' sure if it's some kind of fiber optic, krystal, or (and this is the frightening possibility) some kind of hard energy construct, but you do detect energy within.

Focused more on this discovery then anything else Krystal reaches into the panel to see what they are actually dealing with here.
"Do I think it is wise, no not really. Am I curious beyond all reason, you better believe it! And may I ask what is up with the Maam thing, I am definitely not old enough to be a maam yet. Call me Krystal or if you want some formality Krystal-Lyn!"

"I do not say he will be sold on the idea," Kiadan responds to Tycke. "However if you are persauisve enough and agree to help us on our mission I'm certain he could put up with you until we find a safe place to transport you."
Kiadan looks at the machinery. "I would suggest we return here tomorrow, see how much of this is returned. Krystal, can you mark this when they are done?"

"If you think that is what we should do Doctor." Krystal answers her while still studying the energy. She does start to prepare to close it up.
"You know Balus you can still talk to me, I mean the Doctor and I are both civilians so if anyone gets in trouble from her it will be me. So what do you do and all that cool stuff?" She continues on chatting casually while studying this, she has it down to just having to put the panel into place to close her work up!

"You know Doctor, in an effort to make things better, you know I could just stay here and continue to research. It could potentially save time. If it works better for you then you could also leave Balus and Slycer here and you and the nice Lieutenant can go do first contact!"
She says while winking to Balus in an effort to get him away from the over bearing Lieutenant and her to keep doing her fun in figuring out this ship!

" Me? Uh, I'm just one of the ship's security detail." Balus shrugged, not being modest intentionally. He caught the wink, but his expression gave away he was sure if it was a good idea or not.
