You reposition yourself in the cave, and can see it leads down to a hatch that is definitely part of whatever structure the science team is in.

For some reason, Kiadan and Krystal don't seem to be responding to you.
(Krystal)
You find something that you think is a panel, but the sophistication of the design, as well as the age, leads you to wonder if there's any power in the system, nevermind that you can't seem to start it up.
(Kiadan)
The only possible conclusion is that this ship impacted MILLIONS of years ago, possibly during the formation of this very planet, if not causing a major ice age event. You are also amazed and slightly baffled by this technology, and you can hear noises from down the corridor, and intermittent noises from your radio.

Kiadan nods to her underling. "Agreed, this ship seems to have been here for several thousand years." She points at the ship. "See this?" she asks. "This could have been an extinction level event on this planet."

If you listen carefully, you can hear the sound of boots on a metal floor coming from the direction of the whole. Slycer meets up with everyone. "I got bionic ear implants - I think our science team is about to meet the locals. Orders, sir?"

You are walking further down the corridor when you hear footsteps.

Kiadan brings her body to the fullest intensity that she can to expose more lightly. Perched atop Krystal's head. "Do you hear that? Someone else knows about this ship."

Krystal spins around immediately to see what is causing the noise. To be on the safe side seeing she has not heard a call out from the protectorate team she throws up a forcefield around the two of them.
"How odd, is that protective team not supposed to be near us? I mean it can not be them as they would have announced there presence would they not. Either way I put a shield up around us!"

Balus nodded, having no idea how to do what the LT wanted. He led the way into the science teams entry point, glad to remove his goggles inside from the stormy conditions outside. He kept a look out for the others.

Fuse, Balus and Slyce, you meet up with the science team just as they meet up with the native group - they are in heavy fur coats and point their guns yelling in an alien language, but seem more frightened and surprised than hostile necessarily.

"You know doctor is this not lovely. First the team does not follow us down and then, we have this group bearing down on us." Krystal then turns to the team kinda ignoring what is in front of her, specially since there is a force field in front of her. "Wonder what I am going to put in my report. Be that as it may they look more scared then anything. Balus, why do you not do something scary and see if they run away."
Krystal knows that he has some form of toughness considering what was said on the ship before disembarking and the fact he is not wearing anything now for protection.
(OOC - Around us is a 500sdc Force Field, realize I forgot to say that when I threw it up)
