Lobo feels the twin blasts slam into his back as he removes his blades with a little twist. He growls and turns and fires both forearm energy weapons point blank into the face of whichever soldier is closest.

At point blank range, the soldier goes down, his helmet absorbing the blasts. As if realizing they were in too close, most of the troops drop their rifles in favor of vibro sabers. Three of them slash at Lobo (strkes 14 (4md), 10 (7md) and 9 (6md) )
The sounds of Lobo's skirmish are unmistakable to the others. Dyson turns to Sam. " Do we help, or use the time he's buying us, LT? " Lesa, with a glance at Sam, ushered the escapees on towards Westvale, starting to leave the remaining squad members behind.

Sam hesitates before answering. She radios lobo and asks "Do you need assistance?" While she waits for his reply she tells dyson "Take advantage of the time he's giving us. Get those people to safety" Sam falls to the back of the group in case she needs to head back.

" Yes ma'am." Dyson nodded, and began herding the escapees towards Westvale. Daryn and Lena were among the last to follow Dyson's direction, the boy commenting. " Thae juicer guy is even crazier than Shep is."

Lobo spins and pounces toward the closest soldier while getting slammed by two vibro blades. He still manages to land on the nearest soldier on his chest trying to stab him with his forearm blades in the face while growling through his radio, "I got this you kids run along."

The soldier spun away as the blades sliced into his faceplate and landed at Lobo's feet. The six remaining standing soldiers regrouped, leveling their weapons at the Juicer. One of them spoke. " Give it up, or we'll mist you right here, juicer."

Sam radios Lobo "Acknowledged" She turns her radio off and runs to catch up with Dyson and the rest of the group as they head to Westvale.

Lobo slowly raises his hands, "sure thing boss whatever you say." Over his radio, "see ya on the other side." Lobo then sprints directly towards the speaker and presumed leader and shoots both forearm energy weapons point blank at his face while grabbing and shoving his rifle toward the next closest soldier.

The blast took the soldier squarely, blowing him off his feet, and the rifle distracted a second, but the remaining four opened fire. (Str[Dmg]= 17[10], 13[15], 7[12], 5[10])
The group made better time than expected and made it back to Westvale's ruins without incident, though there was a nagging feeling of being watched the whole time. From the shadows cast by the wreckage of one of the houses, a voice bellowed. " You've got alot of nerve returning here after what you've done, Coalition." Koor spat, glaring at Sam.

Lobo somehow avoids the incoming blasts of the remaining soldiers as he sprints off into the woods. He heads in the opposite direction the others were moving in.

The Soldiers don't give chase after Lobo, instead tending to their wounded. He easily slipped away and picked up the trail.
" This destruction, Luietenant." Koor replied coldly. " If you and the rest of your soldiers had not come to my village, Sung's people would have left us in peace. Instead, they saw your arrival as a threat and acted against innocents. " He shot a glare at Ellie. " Do not bother. There is not enough left here to even bother. Westvale is no more and I will not rebuild it."
Disheartened whispers and sobs came from the survivors as Koor continued. " I agreed to allow these people to make their home here only because a good man made a deal with me, but that deal is nulled now that he is gone. " He turned to face the crowd. " Gather what you can find and then leave, I will no longer be here to protect you."

Sam turns around to Koor and replies in a calm, but firm voice, "I have never been here before in my life, so you must be refering to the other Lt that was in charge. That's why we're here now: to try to right some of the wrongs that were commited to these people. Now you can either help us, or you can get the hell out of my way."
Sam turns to Ellie and repeats "You have your order Ellie: put out the fire."
