The SAMAS let off a burst to remind everyone it was still there, but the extreme range made the potshot well off target, but it had the desired effect as several of the escapees cringed and whimpered. A little one, a Quick Flex toddler barely out of diapers, muckled onto Rhys' leg before being snatched away by his mother,. Dyson let out a snicker as he saw, moving to support one of the rescued fellow CS soldiers and started in the direction the others were moving.
If you can justify why Rhys was monitoring alternative fequencies, yes. Otherwise he'd just overhear Dyson replaying it.

(OOC: Because Rhys is a paranoid bastard? if that's good enough reason if not I am after all Special Forces and trained to cover my arse).
Rhys looks down at the child for a moment and rolls his eyes. Luckily his helmet hides his exasperated look as he turns and disappears into the brush. (prowl 40 rolled out of 60). He moves with the all the stealth and silence he can muster.

Sam turns to Lees and says "Do me a favour. Yell about how imcompetent we are later when we don't have SAMAS shooting at us. For now, let's concentrate on getting everyone to safety."

Mary chimes into the comm. "I'm going on the radio again. Stay the course, Lt. Lobo, Ellie, Get that SAM out of the sky."
After a second, the radio clicks active.* "I'm moving out. I will meet up at the Southern pool." She says, heading off.

No reply came to the radio call, but the sounds of engines approaching from the direction they had came caused the children to start to stir in panic as they huddled in small groups around the adults, moving slowly in the direction Sam had indicated.

Sam tries to usher everyone in the same direction as fast as she safely can, all while keeping an eye out for vehicles that may come after them. She says into the radio "It sounds like we've got more company. Keep your eyes open!"

Mary grunts, hearing the engines, and swings towards the way back to the prison Pen, making as good time as possible to take the other vehicles out, if possible.

Before following the injured Ellie looks to the others before they head off. "Can any of you rig and explosive to the truck just in case they search it? It would give us heads up when they got here and let us know how much time we have." After making the suggestion Ellie heads out following the injuryed and making sure they can make the trip

Lobo responds to Ellie, "Yeah, I can rig a grenade with a simple pull trigger on the door. No prob." Lobo hops down off the cab of the truck and ties up a plasma grenade to the frame of the drivers seat, he reaches through the window and ties a string from the pin to the door handle of the truck, unobtrusivly as possible.

While continuing to move as silently as the shadows of death Rhys circles around towards the sound of those engines to check out what they are and to see what he can do about them if they are bogeys.

Mar and Rhys both spot the approaching trucks at the same time. similar to the one used in the prison break, both trucks held at least a dozen troops, all in CS armor. Both of them knew that the bunch of kids would never outrun two squads.

Rhys scans the radio frequencies to see if he can Identify these troops as CS or not. As he continues to move silent as Death himself and starts looking for ways to use the terrain against the trucks if need be.

Lobo watches the remaining Sam to see if it holds its position or falls back. If it is holding its position out of his range he moves towards it to attack.

The SAM continues to for the ground troops. Rhys soon picks up the transmissions of the soldiers, which sound straight out of a CS training scenario. Dyson, still hanging close to the LT, glanced at her, his tone nervous, " Ma'am, we're never going to outrun them with these kids. Maybe we should join the others and try to hold them off so the civilians can get to safety?"

Mary, not bothering to listen to the radio, and knowing the children will be killed whether it's CS or Sung's men, fires her rifle to take out the wheels in the front quarter of the vehicle in the lead.
