Tyneer led the squad through trails that he didn't have rigged with traps and avoided anymore run ins with the Brodkil. They arived at a small cabin built into the hillside where Shep and Cabal had seen the puffs of smoke. He motioned them all inside just as it began to rain. " I'll be there in just a minute, gotta get out of this suit."
Shep took a seat on a home craved chair as he pulled out his radio. A neat hole had cut clean through it. He smirked, " Can I recce a new one, LT?" he tossed it to Sam for her to see why he hadn't called in. He then began fiddling with his rifle.
Tyneer stepped in through a side door. He was a deceptively wiry man in his mid forties, clean shaven and his hair greyed. " Now, to what do I owe the company of Coalition soldiers?" his tone was less than welcoming.

Rhys glances to the Lt and Shep. "Supposedly Sung has found the controls to some sort of super weapon, A birdie told us that you might be able to confirm the intel on this."

" Sung?" Tyneer stroked his beard thoughtfully. " I try to steer clear of his lot, but I do know he's been working on something. But there's no way the lot of you can walk into his territory dressed like that. "

"We can go undercover if its needed. Which for dealing with Sung, and the threat he poses is more than needed."

Sam simply nods at Shep as he asks for a new radio and replies "We'll get you one as soon as we can."
Turning to Tyneer, she replies "It probably is a good idea to go undercover."

" We can get you what you'll need in Manson Station, about a days walk from here." Tyneer said. " They have everything you'll need, but I'll warn you. Station is a rough and tumble place, not known for it's hospitallity."

"Just another day at the job," Rhys chuckles.

once inside Cabal listens quietly after removing his helmet, but his expression shows he doesn't seem too keen on the idea of having to expose himself

" Doesn't sound like we have much of a choice, LT." Shep replied, looking at Sam. " Hopefully it goes better than your last undercover mission."
Joshua looked at the foursome," We can take my hovercar. It's a beater, but it won't get a second look."
Out back, the 'beater turned out to be a repainted CS Scarab in nearly mint condition other than some scratches. " You'll be okay inside this without your armor. I'll park right on top of a market dealer's shop so you'll be safe until you find replacements."

"Where do we stow our gear?" *asked to no one in specific*

Cabal addresses Sam "el-tee, at the risk of sounding like a chronic headache, we, er ... I have another 'issue'. can 'we', meaning 'you' and 'I', discuss it in the back room in private?" he gets up and heads for a private area and stops short, spinning around to look at the others "and this time I do mean 'private'!" before proceeding.

Sam nods in Rhys's direction as she says "That's a good question."
Sam then nods at Cabal and says "Fine." She then follows Cabal and says "what's up?"

Cabal looked Sam squarely in the eyes "if this is what we have to do to accomplish the mission, I understand, but I might prove to be more of a liability than an asset. this is classified 'top-secret' and was only to be disclosed on a 'need-to-know' basis, but now, you need to know."
Cabal removes the armored gauntlet on his right arm just below the elbow to reveal a juicer drug harness injection collar attached to his wrist. "how do you propose we explain this? that's the reason for the armor. I'm a ghost. I ... this ... " holding up his right hand and the collar "isn't supposed to exist."

Shep looked at Rhys," We'll have to stash it here. At least our armor." He was busy attaching his WI-GL8 in place of the standard grenade launcher he'd removed. It looked horrible with the G.l.'s barrel longer than the cut down C-14's, and nearly a roll of camo duct tape to secure it after he had screwed it into the attachment slots. " What do you think, look like standard CS gear now?"
Tyneer merely shook his head. " standard Coalition troops you folks aren't."

Rhys chuckles at shep's antics with the weapon. "Yeah looks perfectly standard issue." Rhys starts taking his CA-7 armor off, straightening his black fatigues afterwards.
