You all begin the tracking with a steady pace but eventually slows as the forest and brush become more dense. It eventually slows to a crawl and the tracking becomes more difficult as well until you get to a small clearing where you then see a road where the horse prints becomes clearer. After a few hours you come to a fork in the road. There you see not only two horse prints but to other foot prints as well. One set are large animal prints about the size of a horse and has talons for claws and indents into the ground a couple inches. The other looks like a large cat print but there's only two sets, like it's standing on it's hing legs. You also see the tracks split. One horse tracks and the one large animal track goes one way. The other horse print and feline type print goes the other. It is now about 6pm and the sun is setting across the tops of the mountains............what do you do?
Also Meka sniffs the large tracks and starts to get nervous, same with the horses. Something they are smelling in the air is spooking them.

(OOC: yeah I know boots, cloak and Gloves glow to Kurff's enhanced sight but no weapon)
Lazarus sighs as the tracking slows down. "Damn at this rate it will take us alot longer to catch up to them."
(OOC: GM how clear are the paths? IE the amount of tree coverage above the paths?)

"So, which one is the dragon?" Derik asks, looking at the split. "We ought to follow them, sicne they'ld probably keep the amulet, if it's worth so much. And dragons are tough enough to defend it."
He didn't like the sun setting like it did, but being assassin meant knowing the value of patience.
Besides the tracks, Horace's biggest concern was food.

Lazarus - The path is wide enough for three horses abreast and there's some trees covering the path. The fork area is clear big enough for everyone to group together.
