Will finished loading all of his arrows into his new magical quiver, and barely noticed the others getting ahead off on him. He snapped his horse's reins to catch up to the others. He slotted an arrow ( normal) to his new bow as he paced the others advance. " Is it too late to say I don't like this?"

"If you back out, then do I get your money?" Derik asked Will, still using Elvish, it seeming to be the language everyone knew, here.
At this point, he was more concerned about how he was going to get past the robbers' ambush... "Unless we just ride past them without so much as a glance..."

Storm nudges Todd into a run and keeps up with the rest of the group as they get to the edge of the forest. You can easily see the blood trail left by the solder and horse
(OCC: Just waiting for Faldera to catch up.)

"There might be a way to hit them from both sides." *in Elvish* Following the blood trail moving cautiously yet quickly.

Shayla shows up quietly, quarterstaff in hand. "Sorry I'm late" she says in a quiet tone of voice, almost whispering as she looks around.

"no big deal, Meka is going try and track them." he grinned, "say how's familiar spell work?" he asked as Meka shook and started to sniff.

Derik got his bow and quiver of arrows. "We should proceed on foot through the forest." He said. "Unless they're too far ahead."

Lazarus attempts to hunt down the tracks of the thieves (not the tracks from the soldier that returned.) Once he finds them he will attempt figure how long of a lead they have time wise.

As Meka and Lazarus attempts to track the thieves from the edge of the forest they find it difficult with the large amount of horse tracks that Lazarus see's and the smells of human, elf, and horse that Meka smells. Currently you cannot differentiate between the solders and the thieves from here.

*cursing in a mix of Northern and Western* "Damn them for messing up the tracks." *looking to the others* "In this mess, I can't locate the thieves tracks."

'Find a scent object.." kurff said as he look at branches or bushes for scraps of clothe, hopefully from the thieves.

Making note of Lazarus's skill in Western (after all, if you can swear in a language, you must be proficient, right? right?), Derik looks around.
In Elvish to the group, he says, "Let's keep moving. The soldier's met the thieves at one point, and the thieves continued without the soldiers, right? We simply have to get to that meeting point and look around it."
In the mean time, it being a bad time for archery, Derik has his swords at the ready.
To Lazarus, in Western, he says, equally calmly "Keep a civil tongue in this company. Also, yelling is a give-away to your position."
