" Sorry Sarge." Dyson took off his pack and tossed it to Shep, the sergeant catching it with a thud that nearly knocked him from his feet. He leaned against the wall a moment to catch his balance before opening it to reveal some of his personal belongings. He began to dress as quickly as his body would allow. " You know what Mar, next time I'll just laser etch you a message on the wall and sign it in blood so it gets spelled out. At the time I didn't have alot of options."
Dyson looked at Sam and shook his head. " They just never stop."

Sam sighs and shakes her head. "So it would seem." she says to Dyson quietly. Heading into the hallway, she keeps an eye out for any signs of approaching soldiers and snaps at Shep and Mar. "Fight later. Let's get the hell out of here, NOW!"

The hallway seems deserted. Pulling his shirt down over his head, Shep smirked," What scary is I'm actually glad you came." He coughed and turned to spit a wad of bloody phlegm to the floor behind him. " Macklin's due back tonight so they were gonna stop taking it easy on me."
Dyson's eyes widened. " That's taking it easy?" He shuddered.

Sam nods with a small smile at Shep. "Ok, people, looks clear. Let's move." Sam starts down the hallway, keeping a close eye out for any signs of trouble.

"Yes. Just go on and assume we're always fighting. Why can't I chew him out without everyone accusing me of foreplay?" Mariana hisses, making her way back to the cistern, leading the others, keeping all her senses out for trouble.

Dyson snickered when Shep countered. " You mean that wasn't foreplay?"
As they reached the cistern, an alarm began to warble through the building.

Ignoring Shep, Mariana dives into the cistern and swims out to the sewage exit.

Sam curses quietly as the alarm is sound. "Get going," she says to Dyson and Shep. "Dyson, help Shep. McCain and I will cover you. Go. Now." Once dyson and shep have dived into the cistern and are swimming towards the exit, Sam will dive in after McCain and head in the same direction.

Just as Shep and Dyson disappear beneath the water, a laser blast over Sam's head tells her and McCain that've been spotted. Angry voices coming down the corridor also told them they were outnumbered.
When Marianna surfaced, the Larmac was waiting, much soberer and armed with a massive cudgel. " I knew I don't know you."

Mariana pulls out her super gun, shooting the Larmac in the head from under the water(Strike: 16+3=19, 10 MD) "That's nice." She says, walking quickly by, taking the cudgel. They're in the Sewer exit, now.  |

Turning to McCain, she says "That's our cue to exit. Go, now, I'll follow you." After McCain dive into the water, she follows him, swimming towards the exit.

McCain dives into the water keeping his rifle tight to his back moving as quickly as he can, reminding whoever has point where he left the bullet mines he set up.

The Larmac's corpse fell back lifelessly. Beyond him were the sounds of other member's of Macklins house staff and gang members. None seemed to be looking towards the sewer exit, at least for the moment.
Shepherd and Dyson surfaced as Mar got clear. After gagging a bit, Shep leaned against a wall to regain his breath. " Give you credit, Mar. You take me to the nicest places."
Several laser blasts fizzled into the escape route as Sam and McCain , but none were powerfull enough to continue on and strike either them.

Sam swims as quickly and quietly as she can towards the sewer exit. Emmerging from the water quietly, she takes stock of her people and the situation to decide how to proceed. "All right," she says in a quiet tone of voice, "let's go. Stay sharp and keep your eyes open."

Mariana barely takes a moment to register Shep before she pulls the clothes of Mecklin's men back on, and pulls out the Naruni rifle. She whispers to McCain, "Blow the shells when we're out." Stepping outside, she looks around and sneaks along the trees.
