The skelebots returned fire on mcCain (str=8, 9dmg) and Sam (str=11, 11dmg). Miraculously, sam mangaed to avoid the laser beam ( -10 to dodge, but 22 still enough)
Dyson and Greer rose from their cover long enough to fire on the robots, Dyson catching the one attacking Sam in the chest (14 dmg) and Greer plopping a grenade into their formation that struck them all [15dmg each].
(next melee)
The skelebots reacted to the ambush by all turning to attack Greer and Dyson's position.
(everyone's turn again)

As the skelebots turn to fire at Greer and Dyson, Sam fires again at the skelebots (strike: 18+2=20, Damage: 5 md damage)

"There has to be a way to disarm them..." She looks at the back of one of them. "Oooh. Guys see if you can keep them busy, I'm going to try and make one blow. Keep your distance."
Focusing as hard as she can, she starts trying to undo the bolts keeping the access plating on, hoping they'll self destruct.

Sam's shot struck the skelebot at the same time it fired on Greer and Dyson's spot along with the other three.
(Mar needs to make a roll to strike to pull off her tk attack)

McCain takes a blow to his shoulder but he immediately swings back on the same target, aiming for the head he fires again.

McCain's shot melted a hole through the robot's head, spurring it to begin firing indiscriminantly , though it's shots came nowheres close to anyone.
One of the remaining skelebots halted it's assault and began to announce, " Warning! Warning! Integretity Comprimise!" The other remaining skelebot began to distance itself.

McCain smiles as he turns his attention to the skelbot trying to distance itself and fires at its head, "One tin can down, two to go."

Sam also shoots at the skelebot that is distancing itself from the other one. (Strike: 17+3=20, damage: 9 MD)

Mariana looks around for cover. "Everyone had better find a good safe rock." She says, finding one herself to duck behind. "If I know my bots, that thing's about to blow."

Dyson and Greer continued to stay behind cover at Mariana's warning. The Skelebot moving away returned fire at McCain (str 15, 17 md) as the damaged one started to go critical.

McCain takes a hit in the chest and decides to duck under cover and wait and see what the damaged skelbot decides to do.

Just as sam ducked, the warning announcements stopped. There was a slight pause before the tremendous impact of the robot's self destruct mechanism activating. The resulting sound wave was barely blocked out by the squad's helmets and still left a ringing in their ears.
A muted " help" was the first sound that came over the radio afterwards. It sounded somewhat like Dyson.
