Daryn looked at Mar in disbeleif. " And Shep likes you?" He scuried back along side his mother as the truck hit a bump. Behind them, an explosion fills the air from somewheres beyond the compound. There were no signs of pursuit until a pair of Sams swooped low over the treeline circling hard for a head-on pass.

Lobo readies his rifle and draws a bead on the first of the pair of Sams as he says over the radio, "Hey guys we got some company back here, 2 sams."

In the split-second timing usually reserved for such moments, Mariana decides that what Shep thinks of her is really quite immaterial, especially in the face of oncoming SAMAS. "Ellie." She says over the Com, "Remeber the choker? Give it a shot, you'll only have a few seconds to affect those SAMAS, so make your aim count." Mary then starts to focus, deciding that a sudden wrenching of one SAMAS gun to the other SAMAS will help things out. While the vehicles move forward, she times her thoughts, waiting for the exact right moment to swing the gun.

The pair turn hard and dive in on the truck, spurring the former prisoners to react with a range of whimpers to outright screams of terror. With their rail guns leveled, they opened up on the cab of the truck as they began their pass. The old truck whined in protest, but somehow it held together. Dyson shouted from inside. " It won't take another one of those."

Once the SAMAS came into range, Mary reaches out with her telekinetic powers, and yanks the gun of the one on the left to have it point to the one on the right as it flies by. A moment after she does this, she releases the gun, hoping they'll think it was some invisible guy.

As the SAMAS flys by to attack the cab Ellie uses one of her new found abilities to try and choke the SAM Pilot. Not knowing how much energy to use this ability she summons the psychic energy (30 ISP) and visualizes a telekinetic hand (Super Telekinesis) grasping the SAMAS throat.
OOC: thats 300lbs of pressure on his throat. I'm not exactly sure what this would look like to others or what it would do to the SAMAS or the pilot, but I figure its going down.
