While the now ex-prisoners are being loaded and escorted Rhys walks the area around the trucks and keeps his ever vigilant (some would say paranoid) guard up and checks to see if anything is amiss.

Lobo calls over his radio, "Hey I have a couple of rail guns on legs out here guarding some building." Lobo smiles and drops into a crouch. He sprints toward the closest one and leaps over it aiming to use his forearm vibroblades to cut the ammo feed to the railgun.

As Ellie tries to help, Mikey suddenly opens his eyes and stares at her. " Don't waste your time Ellie." He croaked weakly. " I'm already on the way out. Can you find Shep for me?"
The hatch blew open from the force of the explosion in the confined space. As she ran, she took notice of smoke starting to billow up outside the fence line,
" Probably us. Odds are They're expecting us to try to make a run for it and mow us down in the process." Shep replied. " That's what I'd do."
Rhys paranoia causes him to spot Lobo just as he charged the NG Argonauts ( see the MercOps book if your curious). The one the juicer charged failed to target him in time, but the second got off a burst before he struck ( rts = .... why is it dice only work when you don't need them to? nat 20, dmg = 19x2= 38 MD)
The rail burst grabs everyones attention

Lobo gets slammed by the railgun blast and he tumbles to the ground with a large chunk missing in his armor, he rises to his knees, suprisingly quick for such a hit and slahes his forearm blades at the ammo belt of the closest argonauts.
15 to strike, 14 MD
OOC-LOL, thats ok in one gaming session I actually dodged a natural 20 with a natural, twice

"Shep We need you in here now!" Ellie calls over the radio not want to leave Mikey's side. She pauses and waits for Shep to come in before she stares helping the others.

San listens to shep and nods quietly "Not a bad plan, good for us we can try to keep that from happening."
Upon hearing the rail gun fire, Sam curses and She hears her mutter something under her breath that sounds like she wants to shove Lobo's guns in a place where the juicer would find rather uncomfortable. Hearing Ellie's call over Sheps radio, Sam nods at Shep. "Go. I'll find out what's going on out there." Sam calls to Mary "Smith! You're with me. Let's go!"

Shep nodded to Sam and doubletimed it back to the ward. He looked at Ellie as Mikey spoke. " Give us a minute alone, Ellie. I want to say goodbye."
The blades sliced deep into the ammo belt as the Argonaut turned to fire on it's assailant and the other fired again (rts = 11, 2, dmg 14, 19Md if they hit)

Lobo uses his forearm blades to completely slice through the ammo belt while taking the brunt of the first blast and dodging the second blast of fire from the pups.
25 to strike, 9 MD damage
6 and 21 to dodge respectively

Sam shrugs her shoulders at Mary's mumblings. "I'm hoping we can get this done with a minimum of fuss as well, but it looks like that's not going to happen." Sam sighs "Let's hope we can get it done with a miminum of casualties, at the very least."

After a few minutes, Shep walked from the ward, a sullen look on his face he pulled the curtain back. He glanced at Ellie as if he wanted to say something but couldn't find the words as he continued out the door. In the other room, Ellie could see how peaceful Mikey had become, and his machines had been turned off.
Stopping outside at the trucks, his looked at Rhys. " How much longer?"
without it's ammopack supply, the first robo gun dryfired as it retreated towards the other Argonaut, which focused on Lobo and fired again.(rts= 14, 17md if hits)

When Shep walks by Ellie she has a professional look on her face. She knew what he had to do and respected the fact the he could do it. Helping the last of the parience out to to the trucks Ellie looks at the Lt. "Ma'am all the injured are in the truck and ready to move." Ellie hops into the truck with the patience so she can keep an eye on their vitals.
