Alice resists the urge to childishly stick her tongue out at Jason and nods. "Ok... Ashley, can you tell us anything? What happened? Did Fielder tell you what he was doing and why? It might help us."

*Sierra shrugs and lets Jason take the picture. it makes no never mind to her, just that this guy cut their powers off without a single thought.

" It was because I felt guilty for the damage I caused." Avi replied as he pulled away from the intersection. " Though I won't deny I wanted to get to know you, and then once we spent a little time together, I wanted to get to know you better. Yeah I know, it sounds cheesy to me too, but I haven't exactly had much practice at this." He parked aside the curb in front of Sasha's bar. " Here we are."
Jason looked at the picture, and his expression went blank and his jaw clenched. He looked at Sierra and mouthed the words," [Are you absolutely sure you saw this guy?]"

"the answer to your first question is that anything is possible. I'd have to see the book and the spell. hopefully, it's now in the possession and safekeeping of the council since they performed the clean up operation. if they have the book with his spells and him here, that would give us extra insurance. the answer to your second question is here" as he pulls out the dart found at the scene of Ashley and Dmitri's abduction and lays it on the table.

*Sierra's attention is grabbed by Jason's reaction. watching his face and mulling over the words she nods and then returns the attention to the dart on the table. 'hmm .. i wonder .. ' *picks it up and tries to poke herself with it*
*she shrugs and then sets it on the table 'don't think it would have worked on me .. ' *shrugs, her attention back on Jason's reaction*

" Oh sorry..." Jason stammered as Sierra took her paper back. He looked at Alice," it's... I'll be right back, I gotta make a call." He said as he got up and headed out of the room towards the deck, taking a cordless phone with him.
" That mon has got issues." Kristian muttered as he picked up the dart. " It must have been drugged. There's a residue on it."
" So would you with the crap he's been through." Ashley quickly defended Jason, while beneath the table she put her hand in Isamu's.
" Martinez. Avery Martinez, but everyone calls me Avi. " He replied, then smirked," Guess either you'll have to bend your rules or I have to run along home because I'm nowheres near 50. But since I'm already in Alice's bad books, " he shrugged," one drink wouldn't hurt I suppose. I better check in first, I said I'd be back for the briefing."

Alice watches as Jason heads out of the room, torn between wanting to go after him and knowing she needed to continue the debriefing.
Taking a deep breath, she turns to Kristian and Sierra. "Can someone please tell me what in the bloody hell caused Jason to react that way? What happened when you two went out to get Avi? What was on that piece of paper you passed to Jason?" Alice asks Sierra.
