I've got to admit.. I've got nothing on suggestions for what Cabal could do. Any ideas? Other than hiding him till we get some armor to that will fit him. Not a clue. |

so is this game dead too now? since some of our membership has again apparently decided they're having more fun in other games? I see religious posting to other threads while this one sits idle and ignored. looks like another bailout, which is why I'm frustrated as a player.

Since you are blatantly referring to me, I'll answer this. I have not posted simply because I have been busy in RL. In the other games, it only takes a few minutes to whip off a post, whereas Sam takes a lot more thought and preparation for some of my posts. I am working on a post for Sam as we speak and hope to have it posted at some point today. Dakota is aware of all the stuff going on in my life at the moment and knows that I will be posting once I have something substantial to post.

Do keep in mind that this is play-by-post, and not live. Hence delays are quite normal. I have only seen one site where delays were undone, but it is the exception to play-by-post, and not the norm. Plus, hey, take the time and come up with ideas for the PC. Maybe all this time with Socrates will have influenced Duke in some way. So much so that Duke would want a cat.  |

delays are acceptable and expected, but six days and at least a dozen other posts to other threads is avoidance. how long did it take to whip this ooc reply out?
even a quick ooc note what was going on and when we might have expected a post would have been better than nothing rather than leaving us just sitting around waiting and wondering if and when the game might continue

these aren't meant as attacks, just getting my issues with the games off my chest and out in the open. on the table so to speak so hopefully we can come to some sort of understanding and resolve this.
as a player, I should have the right to voice my concerns with the games I'm involved with and this has been an ongoing issue that has already killed one game and is affecting others, so like I said, I'd like to get this resolved.
and just for the record, to answer your question dak, yes, I do think calling it out will add some motivation.
my previous posts sure got people to their keyboards quick enough to get posts out in their defense.
if they'd put that same motivation to work in these games, we wouldn't be having this issue.

You are entitled to your opinion, but it is my job to decide when someone needs to be called out or whatnot, not yours.
Mierin and I have already spoken regarding her not posting and I have accepted it. That is all anyone in the game should need to know, and she will post when she is ready

so that's just great, both of you knew we were on hold, everybody who's anybody needed to know, right? is that it? that's basically inconsiderate and rude treating the rest of the players like crap.
would a quick ooc note that there was going to be a delay from either of you two have been too much to ask as a common courtesy? especially if it's going to take a week?
maybe offered a post as filler to rp with in the meantime? this is exactly what I was talking about in the First Impressions game and why I'm pissed.

No one said anything about on hold. all I said was Mierin was stumped on a reply, which I only found while we were talking when the subject came up.
As for filler posts, everyone who I game with knows that my posting time is normally limited, so I have to pick my battles so to speak. And since this game has become a little slower, it slips on my posting radar. It's still one of my priorities as my first game. And a friendly 'Hey, what's up' pm will do wonders sometimes too
And this has nothing to do with why I killed FI. I lost interst in my own game because of the way things were going. end of story. Someone else thinks they can do better with the premise I've set up, or revive it, by all means.
