Mendez feels his body relax and go into a zen like state. (intuitive combat) He calls for Dyson to answer;" Dyson are you ok!?!" he then targets the remaining sniper, switches to full auto, and fires a long burst at the target. 18 total. damage 30.

Rhys continues to move towards the railgunner position as he keeps very cautious eye where that sniper fired from.

*If Mendez isn't shooting at the placement nearest Mariana, (the one she just smoked) and if Rhys isn't headed there either, and, if the gunner has taken cover from her faux-bomb... Mariana's gonna try and heave the gun out of the placement, and, in a fashion of someone swinging an axe or sledge hammer, where the hammery-axey-weighted and is heaved in a crescent, in the hopes that the gunner isn't holding on to the thing, and removing the gun'll help her side. Otherwise, if none of the conditions are satisfied, and there's no screaming chillun's, she's gonna lob a non-faux-grenade, being a real one, (after the few-second delay needed so that the other guy doesn't have the time to realise he can throw it back) into the window, and run real fast back to her placement, or next to Ellie, whichever's closer...*

The rail gun resists Mariana's efforts, but eventually teeters forward on the turret as Rhys approached. the only response from inside was the slight initial commotion , but it had fallen silent since. The grenade explodes inside house as she bolted for cover, nearly bowling Rhys over.
From their positon, Dyson, Ellie and Mendez can make out movement between the houses through the smoke, at least a half dozen forms moving back into the town quickly. Their movements seem to be military trained. They quickly move from sight before anyone can get a shot
(tag any, that should answer all questions, or at least sidestep them)

*As Mariana picks up up off of Rhys, she says* "Wow, I didn't know you care so much about me" *In a sweet tone* "But, I meant the other house..." *She says, getting up, and running back to Dyson* "Everyone, Converge on Shep, we should try and dig him out." *When she gets there* "Dyson, get Shep's pack." *She then pulls her own on, and hefts the prisoner over her shoulder (fireman carry) and heads to the collapsed house.*

Rhys grumbles and then looks towards the figures moving. Over his radio secure frequency to the others in the squad. "We have incoming, they are moving with military precision." Scanning with his Multi-Optic eye he tries to track their movement.

*Mariana drops the guy next to Ellie, and shakes her from her trance* "Check him out, Private." *Then, at Rhys's comment, looks up, like a Woodchuck at the warning* "O'neil, Mendez, Wong, help me move this Rubble." *On the secure channel* "Shep, speak up."

Over radio* "What's your plan Smith?" *as he tries to keep track of where the enemy soldiers are as he puts himself under the cover of one of the crumbled walls.

Rhys looks for any sign of Koor and also keeps his eyes peeled for any movement from the enemy.

As Mariana approaches Ellie draws her sidearm and lowers it as she realizes who it is. Ellie looks to the guy that Mariana drops next to her "Oo! more toys," she says with a grin. "Sure thing," she replys to Mariana as she tells Ellie to check on the guy. Ellie does a quick look over to make sure he isn't dead (if he is... oh well, if not induce sleep 4isp. If hes unconscious i'm sure he wont protest:)). After that she'll use Empathy 4isp to try to detect Shep if hes under the rubble.

Mendez uses detect evil to keep track of the soldiers moving between houses. Once he gets an idea where they are, he lets the squad know there precise location.
"Glad to see your ok." he says to dyson." make your way over to sergeant smith and help her dig shep out."
He then says;"Ellie, make sure our guest is bundled up tight, and then see if you can help with shep."
Then he says to all;" Rhys and I will cover you, incase they come back."
Finally he signs to Rhys the location of the bad guys, and then signals for Rhys to set up a cross fire.

Dyson Hurries over to the rubble burying Shep and looks for the pack. When and if he finds it he will switch to digging for Shep if there is room with people digging as well.
OOC: I don't know why Shep's bag wouldn't be on his back, I don't remember if he dropped it or not. Dyson isn't thinking about that though, he is just doing the first thing a superior told him to FYI.

Rhys nods in acknowledge ment of Mendez hand signs and moves into position. Setting himself into position for a crossfire with the Col. Once in position Rhys uses his Multi-Optic eye and Rifle Scope to try and find the location of the enemy soldiers.
(OOC Sensorium I think somewhere along the way Mariana picked up shep's back. prolly after she tackled him)
