Dyson looks up at Ellie and rolls onto his side, gently removing Ellie from on top of him and says " Thanks," in a strained, but sincere, voice. It's obviously taking a lot of effort for him to stay calm.
Dyson quickly helps Ellie off the ground and dons his helmet. "Do you know where the snipers are, Ellie?" he says as he sweeps the horizon with his C-27.

Ellie straps on her helmet and point to the forest that was in front of her (now on the other side of the table). "I saw a infared dot on my chest and then it was on Dyson's shoulder and I had a feeling something very bad was going to happen." Ellie looks to make sure everyone has taken cover. "I've always trusted my feelings, especially the bad ones."

"There may have been more." Ellie says defensively " I was the one on my chest one on Dyson's shoulder." Ellie begins scanning all around also.

*Mariana grunts* "could be." *She says, and stands up, in plain view, loking around* "Anyone wants to fight in this town would have to be well armed. Table wouldn't help anyways." *she points towards the woods* "From there?"

Ellie watches Mariana get up and start walking towards the forest. *Armor wont protect you from everything* Ellie thinks to herself as she stands up know she still has her TK field up "Mariana, we dont know whats out there. You assume its guns but what if there is more then just weapons? What if they have magic users? But hell if you really want to go out there your more then welcome to." the sarcasim is obvious in her tone.

Rhys dives for cover while scanning the area with his multi-optic eye trying to find where the sniper is located. Tuning most of the others banter out. He has his CP-50 at the ready as he scans from under the table careful not to make himself a target.

Ellie stops suddenly wondering *why are we having this conver sation now?* "Just be careful Sergeant and use caution" Ellie says trusting Mariana knows what shes doing

" What did she mean but that?" Shepherd asked with an insulted tone as he adjusted his cap while getting to his feet. Scooping up his rifle, he made a quick exchange of hand signals with Mikey before backing away from the others at a fast pace and disappeared between two houses.
"Where's he going?" Lt. Gantry demanded, glaring at Mikey .
Resting the feet of his rail gun's bipod on the top of one of the overturned table and flicked it's safety off, Mikey turned to face the luietenant. " He's trying to flank who's ever out there. If he can cut them off, then they only have two ways they can go, unless they can get over a hundred foot cliff face just to the north of that side of town. So that only leaves retreat away, or come straight through the town."

[Mariana]
As she slips into the forest, she quickly notices how eerily quiet it is. No animals stirring, no birds singing in the still early morning. A brief glint of something reflected by the sun breaking through the trees well ahead in the distance appears, then dissappears just as quickly.

Rhys looks for a defensible place once he finds it he positions himself with a good field of fire incase the enemy comes into the village.
