hope there's no rabbits nearby then... (on another ooc note, what was the deal with the commotion she had seen on the village's edge? Where is she in realtion to The Col. and co. or Mikey and Gantry? Has she seen any of them?) |

Ellie concentrates on the her natural healing energies as a soft blue aura coats her hands. She reaches down to touch Salinger on his torso, letting the healing engergies flow through her hands and into his body (Healing Touch 8HP or 9SDC, probably HP). Ellie waits for a response from Salinger or Mendez as she watches the healing energies do they're work

Salinger stared at Ellie nervously as she pressed her hands on him, and made a slight sigh as the energies coursed through him. His eyes shifted to Mendez and stares blankly, shifting a bit as if searching for the answer to his question. He shifted his body a bit as her energies healed him slightly, but stopped instantly as a loud pop came from beneath him. His head snapped as his eyes locked on Ellie's as he blinked once slowly with tears forming in the corner of his eyes. (Tag - any) mendez waits for salingers reply (tag gm)  The commotion Mariana heard was the Colonel and the others. Whether or not she was close enough to see them pass is your call. Shepherd is way ahead somewheres, and Gantry and Mikey are .... somewhere's else  |

*Mariana clicks on her radio, and a quick message* "Mikey join the Col. and crew. Gantry, please stay with MIkey - " *she goes quiet at the pop, and flicks off the radio. and whispers to herself:* "Their quarry booby trapped?"
*With that, she works her way, quietly, and amongst the rabbit-free trees to the others. Upon arriving:* "You're lucky I'm on your side." *she says in full voice, appearing from between trees.* "so, what happened?"

Upon Hearing the radio message from Smith, Rhys responds, "Sgt. Smith, It's not your place to countermand orders that were given to Lieutenant Gantry and Private Mikey by Col. Mendez.."
(OOC: GM would I have had a chance to spot Mariana on her approach of is given that I was keeping an eye out for anything?)

*Mariana was about to correct Rhys about Mendez's actual position, but was interrupted by Mendez* "Trap?" *she says inquistively, then, in a sarcastic tone* "You mean, a guy the enemy just left in the forest might be trapped? How novel."
*Meanwhile, Mariana backs towards the thicker trees from whence she came*

mendez sheds his pack and chucks it into the trees. exposing his mag - 5 jet pack then hes hits the boosters and tackles ellie out of the range of the blast. i rolled a twelve, im not at home so i dont have my charecter jet pack piloting skill but i'm sure 12 covers it. hopefully ellie has salinger in her grasp. 13 to hit ellie, dakota please check my bonuses against the charecter sheet i sent you. that was without bonuses. 17 to roll with impact, also with out bonuses.

At the sight of Sgt. Salinger Ellie heads to him with little regard for protecting herself. When she gets within 40feet she puts up a TK Force Field around Salinger. She will aproach him ulness he give a signal (Shaking his head or something). When Mendez reaches her she will aproach Salinger with him and give her diagnosis (Medical: Paramedic 30/50%) tag Any correction ellie said she put it up around salinger. |
