Meanwhile, Tobrias ushers Coop and Sarah to the door. "Remember." He says. "Sshyssthorn has to do what you say. Both of you. You're Decree Slayers." A driver and guard (both were armoured, so there was no way of telling which was which) were waiting for them

"Sure, there's a record..." Bianca says tentatively. "Of course, you can always have a friend check out a book for you - and the requester can take the book anywhere once they pick it up...." She wonders if maybe tracking down an ID might prove a false trail.

Sarah looks nervous as she takes the cloak from Coop and realizes that one of the books are missing from the Guild's library. However, since it appears Tobrias has that mystery well in hand, she drapes the cloak around her shoulders and nods at him. "Got it." She then heads out, and puts the hood of the cloak on before they go outside, making herself invisible.

Coop got in the back seat of the car, pausing with the door open while he pretended to check his pockets for something, but was actually letting Sarah get in in case anyone was watching. He finished his ruse by pulling out his phone. He then got in the back seat, allowing the guards the front. allright, let's go chat with a dragon."

The pair were driven up the old, and musty and stuffy-looking former home o the effectively defunct West Guild of Golthreia. Its de facto leader, an ancient dragon, barely raised his head when the two entered. He didn't speak right away, but sniffed Coop. "You have your authority, now? The city you found you, then." He says, each word almost sounding like they'ld suck sunshine into a black hole. "What brings you here?" He asks, his head landing on the pile of gold.

He sighs, evenly... as if he was happy it could all be over, disappointed it would end like this, and depressed that he would be of two minds on the subject. With minimal effort, the whole of Shards was hovering, imagely. There were thin blue lines. "A thousand years ago, this was Shards." he says, his head curling up. "Very soon, the world will glow like this again. You must stop him before the apex, that is when he would do it."

Figuring that the dragon could see her, even with the cloak, Sarah quietly takes it off revealing herself and stands next to Coop, listening to the dragon answer Coops question.

The dragon took little notice of Sarah's appearance. At Coop's question, he inhaled then exhaled. "Soon." He said. "Is that why you're here? To get more information?" He asked, his huge head swinging over to face the pair again.

The dragon shifts his massive body. It's clear that, given the amount of cobwebs as he does, he hasn't actually moved for decades. "No, I do not know who he is." He says quickly. "Why would anyone come here? This place was disgraced. The only ones that come are that Fayde and you." He lies back down. "No-one sees this place fit even for crime."

" The same reason we come here, you have knowledge that can help us." Coop pointed out, glancing to Sarah for a little help as he was running out of ideas quickly. " do you you know how we stop the shifter from casting the spell he'll use? or will he need help?"

The dragon sighed. "I take it you have seen the images of what they call Rifts Earth?" He asks. "That started, apparantly, from one person pushing a button controlling very destructive missiles. The button was pushed at the serendipitously correct moment. It takes little more than that, here, either."
