both detectives looked. " Some people don't like having their photo taken. I don't suppose he gave you a name?" the first one said.
The second butted in," I recognize him. That's the civilian who was hurt and had to be taken by ambulance and then the ambulance got in a wreck or something. Never heard what happened to him after that."

Tom looks at the second guy. "What's weird is that I could almost swear that when that big...whatever he was, showed up...sounded just like this guy"

The second detective seemed to catch something," I thought you said you were knocked unconscious? How could you have heard much from the russian mutant?"

* Sierra just grins up at Kristen. 'yeah. i think that would be a good thing. the shall we bit .. its a good idea. been a long time since i watched sunsets'
*she puts her arm about his waist as they move along. her touch is light at first, as if afraid .. but gets a little firmer. she's getting better about touching as well. its clear that her nerves get her on eggshells at times but its a good thing for her. she just avoids stepping into stuff in the sand 'oh smell that? .. it smells so ... so clean'
*she finds a spot that is mostly protected but one of the dunes nows provide a backrest and the opening almost frams the sides and bottom if leaning there. 'oh wow .. this is perfect. see?' *she looks at Kristen and then slowly turns to look at the water and the scene in front of her.

Tom replies "I heard the big guy as he showed up, and then I was wheeling away, when rude person sent me rolling down the hill into the bushes. BUt I thought I heard him, and he sounded like this guy."

One of the detective's replied, " but if that's the case, this big guy, Ragged -something he called himself I think, it twins because if I'm not mistaken, the old guy the mutants attacked was pronounced dead once the second ambulance arrived to pick him up after the first one wreck. The man succumbed to his injuries the report said."
" That's why we're conducting these interviews. To find out if anyone actually witnessed them attack the civilian. You're sure you didn't see or hear anything else that might help our investigation?"
Kristian wrapped his arm around Sierra in time for the moon to just begin to peek over the surf. " This reminds me of home. We used to sit and watch the moon come up over the bay all the time. things have been so busy, I didn't realize how much I've missed it. I'm glad you thought of this."

the two detectives looked at each other, and one of them shrugged. " The coroner's report said he was in bad shape when he arrived at the hospital, but death was the result of injuries sustained prior to that. but why wouldn't it be the old russian picked up by the second ambulance?"
The other detective smirked at Tom," I thought we were the ones asking the questions? Anyways, " the pair of them stood up and one offered a card, " thank you for your time, Mr. Turco. If you think of anything , give us a call." With that, the pair let themselves out.

*gives a faint intake of wander 'oh wow . its like .. the moon is creeping out of the water .. but its so cool looking. awesome'
*she continues to sit close to Kristen and smiles as she watches the surf and the area. she knows that she'll pick up any Meta's. that come nearby. but for now? .. she enjoys the closeness.
*she gives a fast look at him and grins then sighs happily. she is really happy that she's with him. doing a simple thing, like watching the sun set and the moon rise is the biggest treasure that she holds close to her heart now

Isamu tells Ashley, "allow me to change into short pants and I will be right out." Isamu changes clothes and begins to head outside.
He stops at hearing Tom's voice, clicking his bandadio he says, "Tom this is Isamu, do you require assistance?"
