Alice smiles weakly though there is still an element of sadness in the smile. She can't help but think 'This isn't going to work, is it?'
When Felicia enters the room, she asks "Is there anything I can help with?"

" Thanks, but I've got things under control for now." Felicia smiled devilishly. " But it's time someone else did." Before he could protest, Felicia put the baby in Jason's arms and gave him the bottle. " now, what happened?" she asked, motioning alice into the living room.

Alice follows Felicia into the living room and sits on the couch. She then quietly but sadly starts to describe what had happened: her fight with Jason, the way Jason had stormed out of the house and his phone call to Mac and how Trevor had been petrified she would blame him. She tells Felicia about how she had followed Jason to his place to try to clear things up and how Wraith and Arc had tried to arrest Jason and how she'd used her ability to change her appearance to get away while Jason used his super speed.
"I don't know what happened after we parted." she admits "All Jason will admit is that he 'overdid it' trying to get away. And even though he admits he couldn't keep anything down and winces whenever he gets a hug, he insists that he's just fine" Alice looks down at her hands "All we ever do is fight... and he insists he never wants to hurt me, and yet he does it constantly." Alice runs her hands through her hair and sighs. "Anyway, now you know what happened."

" And he sounds just like Tyler used to be until I knocked it out of him." Felicia smirked. " wouldn't admit anything and didn't know how to talk without picking a fight. Good luck girl."
" Felicia?" Jason called out, " Help?" he sounded a little distressed as he came through the dor, holding the baby outwards.
" Nope, time for you to learn." Felicia replied," everythings on the change table."
Jason scowled but took Maria in the nursery. After a moment he let out a disgusted cry," Gross! It's green!"
Felicia couldn't help but laugh. she looked at Alice, " He'll come around, you just have to keep him in line."

Alice doesn't look convinced as she says sadly. "Will he? Or will we just keep going down this path until we hate each other? Because, most of the time, that's what it feels like. Nothing I do or say seems to help at all, and it just keeps getting worse."

" Girl, I can only tell you one thing." Felicia said with a sigh, starting to get up. " You mean everything to Jason, but if you don't feel the same way, then tell him and end things here and now. You aren't doing either of you any good by leading him on by forcing it to work."
She was about to shout when Jason came in, Maria's diaper barely on. He held her out and whimpered, " Help?"

Alice nods at Felicia and starts to say something when Jason comes in. She smiles quietly and tells Felicia, "I can help with that if you want. I used to take care of my little brother all the time."

" I got it, thanks." Felicia replied, taking the child from Jason," Besides, you have enough children to look after."
Jason got a puzzled scowl as Felicia left them alone.

Alice can't help but giggle at Felicia's remark as she leaves the room. She tries to think of something to say to Jason, but can't think of anything and feels awkward, so she stays quiet for the moment.

After a moment, Jason caught on, and thumbs over his shoulder towards Felicia's departure," She meant me, didn't she? Look, I'm sorry I tried to hide I got a little banged up. I just didn't want you to be worried." He knelt down in front of Alice, and with a little effort, reveal a large bruise forming on his side. " See, nothing to worry about, nothing is broken as far as I can tell. i'll just be a little tender for a while is all."
Out in the next room, Tyler's voice carried his concern, " where is the dumbass?"
Jason rolled his eyes, and spoke lowly," I promise I won't start anything."

Alice smiles gently at Jason as she replies "I don't think she meant just you."
She strokes Jason's cheek softly and says "I know you don't want me to worry, but when you hide things from me, than I worry more." Smirking, she adds "I have an active imagination. Telling me the truth upfront saves me from having to worry because then I know you're OK." Alice leans forward and kisses Jason gently and says "Thank you." She says in a low tone of voice, "Just try to remember he cares about you and wants the best for you... which he shows by insulting you." Alice grins wryly as she waits for Tyler to come into the room.

" Okay, I'll stop trying to hide things. See, if you tell me what I have to do to make this work, it's alot easier." He grinned, but it faded as Tyler entered.
" Ahh, how touching. What did you do this time, bro?" Tyler folded his arms and leaned against the door casing.
" Nothing major, just took a shot to the ribs and bruised them up pretty good trying to get clear of wraith's new goon squad." Jason replied.
" I heard he was back." Ty turned his attention to Alice," have you figured out how to deal with him yet? That maniac isn't going to go away, especially now that he has the mayor in his pocket."

Alice shakes her head with a quiet, worried expression on her face. "I don't know what I'm going to do about him. The mayor wants him to arrest whoever helped Rags escape earlier, and I guess he's decided Jason is the perfect person to arrest." Running her hands through her hair, she asks "Do either of you have any ideas?"

" Yeah, stay away from Wraith." Tyler replied as he cupped his hands on Jason's ribs. " And hide this idiot until things blow over."
" Ty, I can't..."
Tyler cut him off. " Yes you can, and you will if you know whats good for you."

Alice smirks "It's not like I go looking for Wraith," she reminds Tyler gently "he just always seems to turn up." She nods at his suggestion to hide Jason, and looks at Jason quietly. "It's just there's a complication - Jason is supposed to leave tomorrow to work for Mac again." Alice can't really hide that she isn't happy about this. "I and everyone else at the beach house only found out when he called Mac to confirm earlier."
