Sarah nods at Eleutheroi and says "yeah, I guess I can do that." Inwardly, she worries about how her mom will be able to handle it, and she smiles and says "Thank you" to Coop when he pulls the chair out for her and sits down.

"Eleutheroi." Moltavious warned. "It's my story to tell."
And Moltavious filled them in on how the city had taken over. "So much power. I had never believed the city was so alive. So ancient."

Coop blushed at the compliment. He kept quietas Moltavious spoke, and left out the part about how he had intervened to keep her father from killing the demon.

"Also, having the city talking directly to us was rather informative." Eleutheroi said. "Until it mentioned that Coop was actually a descendent of the Golayus line, we thought we were pulling wool over peoples' eyes on the slayer thing."

Sarah nods and says "Yeah. I'd like an explanation on that please. How exactly is that possible? And why am I only hearing about this now?" She adds "I get that part of it is because I was away, but my entire life, there was never a hint of this being a possibility. Was he tapped because I was gone?"

"You didn't know about it because it never happened before. However, it happened within moments after you disappeared. I was drawing some local PPE to replenish, and then the city picked up on it, I guess, and well, yeah. It was like living angry heat... I could spend a day on the adjectives and I'm already tired from the idea." He said, slumping.
"Now, that's enough of that, then." Says Marsha, giving her husband some tea. "It was a big enough ordeal to live through once."

Sarah smiles gently at Coop and takes his hand into hers. "I'm not upset," she explains softly "I'm just confused. I was told this one specific thing my entire life and now I'm being told it's not true? It's just.. I want to understand what's going on."
