As Coop and Biana are looking through the book, they find that there was really very little of note between Golayus and Coop himself. Well, except the interweaving of the lines in a Soap-operatic way....
You see... Golayus Sr. met Great Gammy Cooper, and they had Golayus Jr. This was a few years before Agen Smith turned evil and Golayus and he fell to their deaths off Lands End. The book indicates some kind of foiled summoning plot that brought down the West Guild. Golayus Jr became a business man who had an even more secret affair with Gammy Cooper (who was really his half sister in law, since Coop's Grampa Cooper is really a Cooper of the Cooper line). Ann then Gammy Cooper and Golayus Jr had Daddy Cooper, who is Coop's father by blood. Then, Golayus Jr died 'childless' of pneumonia at 66, his estate handling his assests. Then, daddy Cooper met the witch mommy Cooper, had ickle Coop Cooper Golayus Juniorest, who is the Great-Grandson of Golayus the slayer, grand son of Golayus the businessman, son of Coop the Yuppy businessman and of the witchqueen (deceased) of a dark and sinister god (it doesn't say which one, nor is it important to this narrative, nor, most importantly do I care to go and look). Also, he has siblings who could also be considered part of the Golayus line.
Eleutheroi looks at the family tree and smirks. "Look out, B, we got us a live one here." He says, patting Coop on the back.

" So this wasn't just a ruse for the media. Maybe it will quiet the naysayers on the council about me. All I have to do now is act like I'm part of the Decree lineage, and maybe learn what I'm doing along the way. Hey maybe I'll even get lucky and Sarah will remember who she is soon enough to come back to me..., err, us I mean. " He rubbed his head in an embarrassed manner. " I'm not asking too much, am I?"

" Well I wasn't planning on running out and advertising." Coop replied sarcastically. " Well," he rubbed his hands together," what now? I'm guessing Tobrias has something for me to do?" He turned back to Bianca," Thanks for the help."

Eleutheroi looks over at Coop. "Well, there's the mafia thing."
Unbeknownst to Coop and Eleutheroi, an armoured guard had slipped out of the library to arrive in Tobrias's office, moments before Sarah was shown in - well, not so much shown in as quietly carried by the other guards... well, yeah.
"I hear you have had quiet the time in the sun." Tobrias says, in his suit - kinda like the guy from the dream-memory thing. "Welcome back. Should I summon Zachary?"

Sarah smiles quietly at Tobrias. "It was... interesting." she replies "I picked up a souvenir" She shows Tobrias her new tattoo.
Nodding, she says "I would like to see him, if he is not busy. I am curious to hear why people believe he is a Slayer as well."

" Oh yeah, almost forgot I have to figure out how to protect the bad guys from the blood suckers. " Coop smirked. " Wouldn't it just be easier to call in a bunch of water elementals on the vamp's lair , then let the cops handle the mobsters?"

Tobrias looks at the tattoo and, for the first time since she met him, Tobrias looked genuinely puzzled. "Where did you get that?" He asked, Jack Sparrowly.
Before Sarah could answer, a familiar voice answered. "Because she did meet me." Torran said. "Miss Lockheart was brought into the same limbo where I had spent all that time and was welcome company."

Sarah looks over at Torran and smiles "Hello again." To Tobrias, she says "yeah. It was... weird. But that vision or whatever it was helped me regain my memories."

"It was no vision, Miss Lockheart." Torran says. "Your presence there may not have been deliberate, but it gave my people the advanced knowledge to assist the Guild here. I have to admit, a lot had happened here, and I can understand how detatched you are from the city I knew."
Tobrias simply watches the exchange. "So that was why you were interested in the spell."
Torran nods. "This time, we were fortunate to get it on tape. I doubt there will ever be a counter-spell, but at least we know what it does."

Sarah looks at Torran and Tobrias. "What spell?" she asks both of them "Are you talking about the spell that hit me during the battle?"

"In any event." Torran says. "I am only here to assure your safety and will be leaving soon. The tattoo will not be easily activated here. But that does not make it impossible."

Sarah nods and says "I understand." She chuckles as she glances at the tattoo. "My mom probably won't be too pleased, burt she'll get over itSarah smiles at Torran. "Thank you for helping me in the void."

"I should thank you for your assistance." Torran says. "You held it off long enough to activate the Harbinger." With a nod, he heads for the door. "This city may once again be of interest to the clan." He says to Tobrias and Sarah. "See to it you keep it in order."
With that, he heads for the door... were a portal opens up, swalling him into another dimension, as he meant to go there.

"I doubt the guards can move like that. They aren't invisible. Simply in sha...dow..." Eleutheroi pauses. "Great. A rift. I wish they would warn me." He heads out of the library.
