CH 8: Lost and Found

Bianca smiles, "We can stop in to visit my parents anytime we are in the countryside. My father is a great cook. They live at the vineyards my uncle runs. What about your parents?" She asks Eleutheroi politely. She didn't really think to ask Cooper about his parents, even though she really hadn't spent an extremely long time researching them.

All the talk about family started to make Coop uncomfortable, and he backed away from the conversation before he was drawn into it, and wandered into the study. He knew the Lockharts needed to catch up, and he found himself looking at all of the pictures of Sarah on the walls from when she was younger.

(Sarah)
"Uh-huh." Says her mother. "And who's this Torran?"

(Bianca)
"Oh, vineyard. That sounds like a place to visit, eh, Coop?" Eleutheroi asks. "Coop?" Noticing he was gone, Eleutheroi shrugs. "So, to they have a place for sampling the wine?" He asks

(Coop)
Much like most females of the species, Sarah was a little girl when she grew up! Who knew?!

[Mierin]

Sarah shrugs at her mom. "He's one of the, well, I think he's one of Tobrias's ancestors. Dad's probably heard of him." Looking at her dad, she asks him "Does the name Torran ring a bell?"

[Renekin Skywalker]

As he enters the room, Moltavious thinks for a moment. "Yeah, rings a bell. I think the legend was that his birth was some sort of harbiginger of doom, and just at his prime some apocalypse happened and he was evapourated by some intelligence. All sketchy, it happened thousands of years ago. Why?"

"I don't want you associating with harbingers of doom, sweetie." He mother said, as easily as if she'ld found out Torran smokes. "You know what they're like."

Coop could still hear the conversation as he looked at the pictures. " I'm in here, El."He answered flatly.

(Bianca/Coop)
"As for my family." Eleutheroi says. "Well, I'm the black sheep. I'm the only Botufa not to go into music. And I'm the only one associated with the guild, so things tend to be a little strained." (GM Note: The Botufa family musicians are all very talented classical singers, arrangers, composers, etc., some, like Eltuetheroi's brother, Motiai, are even well known outside the classical circle, as Moitai is a memeber of the popular local folk-rock band, the I DOn't Knows.)

" I'll vouch for the black sheep part." Coop snarked, smirking to himself as he continued to eavesdrop on the conversation

[Renekin Skywalker]

"In or out, Coop." Eleutheroi responds.

Coop couldn't help but chuckle. " sorry El, but you set yourself up for that one." he rejoined them, explaining," just needed a little space for a moment was all. You know how I'm not into the family talk thing."

[Renekin Skywalker]

"Doesn't make it any less rude." Eleutheroi says, sitting on a couch.

[Mierin]

Sarah can't help but chuckle at her mother's comments. "I won't." she tells her. To her dad, she says "Torran was the one that gave me the tattoo. I was in this... void, and he was there. He told me he was stuck there, and he gave me this tattoo so we could fight this maggot. When we defeated it, it was like the void fell apart and then I woke up and I was back at the ranch." Sarah shrugs "It's kind of weird."

" I apologized." Coop pointed out." Hey, do you think there's any chance you might be able to talk Moitai into letting me jam with the band one of their practice sessions? Ask Sarah, she'll vouce I can play most of their songs though the sax gives them a different sound."

[Renekin Skywalker]

"You've met Moitai. Ask him yourself." Eleutheroi says. "Though, since the Botufas and the guild have been in a low-grade feud for about a century, I doubt you'll have a lot of luck."

Coop shrugged. " I guess, not like I'll have alot of time to do it anyways. Why the feud?"
