Kendall opens up a file on his laptop, and starts adding in all the notes that he has about this guy so far. As he does he begins to think where his investigation is taking and debates with himself if he should press on to the next address or just call it a day.

After 3 cups of coffee Kendall saves his "investigation" file with all his notes and thoughts and concerns about the person he is after. 'What a coincidence to be called into the same apartment that I was trying to get into. Damn shame I don't believe in coincidences. Might as well keep on going. I've actually made some progress, even if its only one address after another.'
He packs up, and makes his way back out to his truck. He sets his GPS to take him to the new address. 'Whatever happens here, this is my last stop for the day. I'm getting tired of chasing this guys shadow.'
Upon arriving at the new address Kendall takes a minute to look around at th neighborhood, and the place itself. After several minutes he drives away from the building and finds the CS-Tel control box for the block the place is on. He finds the line associated to the address, and replaces it with a broken cable that he had in his truck from a previous job. He then seals up the box, jumps into his truck and drives several blocks away. 'That should just about do it. If whoever was in that last place is here, his phones and net connection just died, and he is probably using a cell phone to call CS-Tel right now. I'll just send my report on the last place to them now, with my current location...there, done. Now they know I am in the neighborhood when the guys calls in his latest problem, I should be the one to get the call,' Kendall finishes his report to CS-tel leaving out the splice work done on the line. He makes sure that his current location is sent as well as stating he is available for atleast one more call today.

You could have edited instead of double posting.... His plans are momentarily interrupted, so that the GM can place the PC in time, related to the others... since there's a bright blue flash followed by a mild shaking and thunder... all coming from the Labrynth. About 10 minutes later, CS-Tel has all its contractors call in.

"What the F***," Kendall says out loud at the signs of an explosion.
He turns on his radio to see if there is a news report about what just happens. He also calls in to the CS-Tel dispatcher as he tunes the radio.

The news seems staticy, but the word of chaos as people are streaming from the Labrynth, and the fire departments and Centurions have been mobilized to an explosion on the top floors of the acropolis. The populace has been asked to remain calm.

'Why would CS-Tel want us to call in now? They could care less about what happens in the Labyrinth. Not like they would ever send someone in there to fix a phone line or anything.'
After listening to the radio Kendall shakes his head. ' Going to be a lot of bad people on the streets. They should tell everyone to lock their doors and hide.'
Kendall decides not to wait around. He starts his truck and heads towards the CS-Tel main office to see whats up(since he got no answer when he called :-P )

The CS-Tel dispatch yards were a buzz as personell were being accounted for. The countractors got less attention than the unionized. Stories were spreading about every kind of cause from a random containment failure (goodness only knows what's still in there), to terrorists trying to destroy the city (but thank goodness they failed), to a gang war getting out of control (goodness only knows who's prowling around in there)... and so on.
The CS-Tel staff were to be sent to the areas surrounding the Labrynth and assure the infrastructure is safe. The CSPD, CS Fire Department and Centurions were already in the Labrynth sorting it out - something that's never happened in a very long time. When they have assessed it, the crews would be sent to examine the lines and assist police in line traffic if needed.

Kendall leans against his truck and watches the commotion all around him. His look is that of total disinterest and boredom. 'Times like this I'm glad I'm just a contractor. I can turn down the job if it doesn't interest me. Not sure what the big deal about the Labyrinth is today, no one, especially CS-Tel cared much any other day. I'll wait and see whats left to do after they assign everyone else. Was hoping to get into that house. Guess that will have to wait for another day.'
Kendall simply waits for the commotion to die down before he worries about trying to get an assignment. He may not even choose to take one at all.

Most of the jobs seem to be infrastructure review to make sure all's well as some looting has began to begin. Kendall gets offered some work helping with a comm post a few blocks away.

Kendall accepts the job and heads out towards the comm post. Once there he tries to determine what needs doing, and gets started doing it.

Upon arrival, he sees a police staging near an entrance to the Labrynth. There are several of the Centurions there, going over things with the fire department and CSPD. Cordons are going up around the arcology. The base is armed and guarded almost to military proportions.

Kendall approaches one of the officers and shows his subcontractors badge, "CS-Tel sent me. Says they need a comm post setup out here somewhere. Where do they want it and how many lines?"

One of the CSPD, a lieutennant, directs Kendall to the van after checking his credentials. "We want to be able to monitor the condition of civilian lines in the area, as well as any cellular and radio communications. The van can handle some, but lacks the power to do more lines at once. We were going to patch into a CS-Tel junction and use that to boost our capacity. Questions?"

"Do you have the equipment to do what you want and just need the hookups, or do you need everything? Either way, doesn't bother me."

"We have the materials." The officer said. "But we need you to put it all together. And only one job." He leans forward. "I do have the authority to threaten you." He says, more as a warning than a threat. "But it's been a long enough day without having that between us too, right?" He points to a junction box about 50 feet from the command post. Temporary wiring had been done for power and the box already opened, but nothing more had been done.
