"Matt, does your family by any chance have a crop ready for harvest, or maybe headed to market already?" Lex asked. He had a sinking feeling this was making a bit of sense. "You might have been the target tonight. They nab you, your family pays the ransom to get you back. Seen it before a time or two. Doubt they expected much of a fight like we gave them."
He looked at Tetsuo, " Any of this possble? You know them better than the rest of us."

Vivian looks a bit concerned when Lex was asking DR questions about his family. 'Could that really be what it was all about? Vivian wonders to herself, remembering how her mother would be afraid something like that would happen to her. Letting Matt answer Lex's questions, Vivian continues to watch out for signs of threats.

Gaze focused on the ninja, maintaining the hypnotism as he replies, "Cannon wheat. Not just applicable to your name. When you plan a military excursion, what is one of the things you stockpile? The Colonel quoted Napoleon, 'An army marches on its' stomach'. You're in a foreign land where your appearance would stand out like a sore thumb, conducting missions. My first goal would be to secure continuing supplies." Shrugs. "Of course, I could be wrong."

Vivian looks out the window and in the moonlight sees something she immediately recognizes.
The glint of an arrowhead in the moonlight as it moves back on a bowstring.

Vivian's eyes widen as she sees the glint of the arrowhead in the moonlight and she whirls around to face the others. "Get down! We're under attack!" Vivian then shoves their prisoner out of the way and attempts to get down herself.

Tetsuo will attempt to place himself, back facing the window, between Vivian and the window, if she looks like she isn't going to make it.
(Rolling a dodge roll, in case you want it to get in the way of the, soon to be, arrow. If you want a strike then the bonus if +4, instead of +5.)

Lex manages to tackle the prisoner before Vivian can make it, and though she puts herself in front of the arrow, it is Tetsuo who pushes her out of the way.
"Enough of this." The Dark Rider tosses a tomahawk form his belt in a rapid blur and the next thing you hear is a SHUNK of stone meeting skull. "I ain't got no debts. I don't even right own the business that's...." his eyes widen. "...Paulie...."
