Lex grinned as he grabbed some attention and took some of the pressure off of Rex while the others seemed to be holding their own. He watched the two flip, stepping forward with the sword for a quick thrust at the closest ninja.

Lex saw that Rex had been struck as he missed his opponent. His technique became less refined as he tried to clear a path through the attackers with his blade qOUpVD2W1d20+5 even as they all seemed to throw something to the floor. " Hang on Rex, help is coming." He did however take a quick glance to see how Matt and Vivian were doing. The new arrival got his attention as well, but his friends were higher priority.1d20+5

Tetsuo will go to entangle, with the nunchucks, one of the attackers. Preferably around an ankle if the opportunity presents itself, if not then a wrist. There are questions that need answering. Tetsuo, with the nunchuck whirling, strikes out at a nearby opponent's limb.

Seeing the smoke, Vivian grabs the nearest napkin/handkerchief and tries to cover her face with it, in an attempt to keep the smoke from affecting as much as it could.

Vivian is able to keep the smoke out of her lungs as it fills the room. Tetsuo grabs a ninja by the ankle as Rex kicks his attacker into the smoke cloud. Rex feels his blade hit meat and bone as he wades in but is consumed by the smoke.
Once it clears, all that is left are the defenders, plus the sole ninja Tetsuo has entangled.

Lex looked at everyone, "I think the better question is whether everyone is okay? Whoever that pyjama party was, they weren't expecting anyone to put up a fight." He still had his sword in hand as he approached Tetsuo, "Thanks for the help."

The masked figure, after gaining control of the captive, will take the sword from the stranger and nod in acknowledgement, sheathing the sword. When time allows, he will also putting away his sai and nunchucks. Looking around for any other of his recoverable items while questioning the 'ninja' in Japanese. "Who are you? Why did you attack here?" What was your goal? Talk! You know I am capable of getting the answers, so save us both the trouble."

Vivian is glad she kept the smoke out of her lungs and she removes the handkerchief from her face looking around the room. A little confused, she answer Matt. "I ... think so?" She doesn't understand what the newcomer is saying to the one attacker who stayed behind, so she asks, "Is everyone ok? Rex? How badly were you hurt?"

Matt struggled to his feet and straightened his hat. "Just my pride." He flashed Vivian as smile as he helped Rex. "Ain't nothing wrong with a little pride. You got some fancy moves yourself, partner - you and these folks go to the same dance classes?"
Rex (and anyone else with language: Japanese) can roll to find out what Tetsuo is saying.
Lex, The masked man (Tetsuo) is ignoring you as he bellows at his captive.
The Ninja shoots back. "We know you, Apostate! The One-eyed Oni! You will not deter the Fire Path!"
Tetsuo knows that name - the Fire Path are an extremist clan with dominionist ambitions - an Imperial Japan that stretches across the Pacific all the way to the Russian Steppes. Madness, perhaps, but fanatics have a way of making even mad goals seem feasible.
