Vivian climbs into the car as well and makes sure Paul is ducking down so if more arrows come in their direction, they won't be killed. She looks in the direction of the house when the gunfire stops, but doesn't panic just yet. From what she knew about Dark Rider, he shouldn't be underestimated. She had no reason to think he was dead. She didn't think there'd be a safe way to get to the house and didn't think he would want her to risk getting killed if he didn't need any help.

Lex let his blades scissor into place as he tried to parry the ninja's sword. "You folks get out of here. I'll find Rider. Go!" He levelled the Trench gun and fired from the hip at the nearest opponent before heading up the stairs for the front door.

Vivian keeps Paul down as the ninjas attack. One blade slices across Tetsuo as Lex parries and takes down his attacker with a blast from the Trencher. Rex looks to the house and sees the Rider exiting, with a few cuts and one arrow through his right shoulder. He is still spinning his grandfather's tomahawk in his left hand, determined to keep fighting.

All ready moving towards Matt, Lex gave him a nod before turning his attention back to the ninjas as he racked in another shotshell into the chamber. "Come on hero, I'll clear us a path." He said over his shoulder to Matt, then levelled the custom shotgun on another ninja to fire

He had two theories about his attackers. Either they would focus on the biggest threat, which he was trying to make himself, or the weakest, which he considered Matt behind him with his injuries. Either way, Lex was trying to make himself the center of their attacker's attention.1d20

Tetsuo will continue to protect the approach, to the open car door. Attacking any nearby ninja with a sword, when convenient.
