"How about I hitch my foot up your ass?" Beth grumbled in Tom's defense
"Careful, never know who is into kinky stuff like that." Jason replied with a grin.
"Oh my god you're impossible!" Beth shook her head. " Alice, how do you put up with that?" She laughed, " We'll see what we can dig up on this Calvary. Hopefully the computer has to do some long searches." She smirked at Tom.
Jason looked at Alice and rolled his eyes before pulling out his phone and wandering off while dialling Ryne.

Gabe gave Calvin a slow nod, "Thanks." He turned his attention to Sylwia and his expression changed, " I don't think we could have planned for us to stumble onto some sort of super villain's plot at the mall, so next time has to be better, right? There will be a next time, right?"
"Wait up Calvin." Avi said before following him out. "So, you survived meeting Jury. From what I've seen, that's a rarity. The news makes him sound like Ragnarok's flying cousin. He really that bad?" Avi was clearly weak from helping Gabe, but was not letting it slow him down.

"You want to make decisions and I do not, as well as experience as an authoritative figure. That is a start. And your decisions are good ones compared to mine." Isamu replied, showing his confidence in Long. "We will all help you, and Alice is a strong leader so you would be helping her as I did, if she okays this. We will need MacColter's blessing as well, but that will not be difficult once Alice agrees."

"Yes, long searches." Tom responds as they roll off tot he station. "So how do you want to go about this? Normally I just hit Google or Wiki, but that's because it's for story research not, you know, research research. Is there a CIA/FBI dark website we go to for information?"

Calvin nods at Avi and waits. He'll walk at the other man's pace, mindful that he seems drained.
"Jury was certainly maintaining a threatening posture. I dunno if I could've handled him myself. I... I guess I would've tried, if it came down to it. Luckily, cooler heads prevailed, and the next time we encounter him, hopefully we'll have the advantage."
Calvin feels a little embarrassed at having avoided the fight with Jury, but at the same time relieved that he didn't have to face him alone.

"Of course there be next time as you are cool person to hang with." She says semi-avoiding but not obviously the almost conversation they had earlier. "Just think that it is exciting and you gave me big scare when that man hurted you. I would of did better at defending but wanted to be sure you safe." She says to him.

Alice smiles at Jason. "He grows on you after awhile." she tells Beth. As the others head off, Alice goes to call Mac to see what information he can give her about the Calvary.

"So does mold Alice." Beth smiled as they left, then traced a finger along Tom's jawline, " We have access to everything FEMA and Homeland Security has, so it will take a while to go through those databases. Or we pound through it quickly so we have time to ourselves afterwards. Your choice."

Avi shrugged, " I think you got lucky. The last guy I know of that tried to call truce with Jury was Adam Smasher in Philly. The guy spent nine months in traction before he even started to try to recover. I'm glad you really were as cool as you say, I'm not good at putting jigsaw puzzles back together." He patted Calvin on the shoulder.

Gabe looked at Sylwia and smiled, " Next time I won't be such a gentleman and let the bad guys use me as a punching bag then." He chuckled. " Next time we avoid mall security and we'll be okay. Sound good?"

Isamu nodded, and he led long to the control room. Beth already had one monitor cued to a video loop showed Jury suddenly split into several fragments of light and zoom off in different directions. (Long, need a perc roll)

Jason winked at Alice before stepping outside with his cell phone. As she dialed, MacColter answered on the first ring, "Hello? Tell me the reports Beth sent me about Jury and the Calvary are a mistake? How much help do you need me to send you?" It was the most serious Alice had heard Mac's tone.

Tom sighs. "As much as I want to spend some extra time with you, we need to do the job right. Alright, let's crack some databases - hack the planet?" Tom grins.

Alice tells Mac, "I wish I could tell you that, but I can't. Calvin ran into Jury. Luckily he was able to talk his way out of anything Jury was planning to do." Alice is a bit surprised by the offer of help. "What I called for was information. What exactly are we up against?"

Calvin smiles as Avi pats him on the shoulder, but he still feels uncomfortable. I shouldn't be getting an 'atta boy' for this. I basically let a deranged vigilante get away.
"Well... next time, I'm sure there'll be a fight. Hopefully, we'll catch him before he hurts or kills anyone else."

Sylwia turns to Gabe, "That does sound good." She says hoping she got it right. "I should let you rest though and head back to group. Just in case we are off to something else." She finishes waiting to see his response before she heads off.

"Relax Tom, I'm only teasing." Beth said as she slipped away to take a seat in front of the computer terminal. As she began entering search parameters, she added, "Besides, I really like you, but not enough to put on a show for your teammates." She nodded towards Isamu and Long at the other workstation. "Oh wow." She deadpanned as the computer came back quickly with over twenty thousand hits for Jesse Custer 7th Calvary.

As they watched the replay slower, Long could see that one of the light fragments comes rightñj back down in the park, and then a man that was not there in the previous frame walked away like nothing
MacColter paused on the other end of the line before answering. "I can send you all the i fo you want, though your location was just flagged for searching our databases so someone already has everything we have on both. I'll have it sent to you anyways. In a nutshell, Jury is an unknown group that are somehow able to merge into one of the more powerful vigilantes on the continent. We don't know who they are or how many of them are involved to transform. The Calvary on the other hand we know lots about. They are number three on the most wanted list. Both of them are not to be taken lightly.
Out on the deck, Alice could tell by his pacing and body language that the call wa s spiralling out of control.

Gabe nodded, "Okay, I'll see you later then." Closing his eyes, he relaxed as he laid back ywhile Syl left.
Alison met Sylwia just outside the door. "Oh, hi," she asked before stepping out of the way, " I hear Gabe is gonna be okay. You guys got off lucky, you know that?"

"Where's the fun in that?" Avi replied before veering into the armoury, leaving Cal alone in the hal'." Hey, if we get really lucky, let Jury beat on the calvary, then we just have to clean up what is left over."

Tom chuckled at Beth's comment as they continued their search. "...that's a lot of hits - are they just historical or are there any about this clown in particular?" Tom began to search through the links, clicking on the first one he thought was relevant.

"I know we lucky. Me be ok regardless, but him is not as powerful in body as I be. I would of be fine likely but him is problem. Not that he be problem but being not powerful like some would be if you know what mean I" It becomes obvious that she had a little bit of a shake with her English levels dropping.
