Tom ignores Jason's question and simply looks at the plane. "OK, we're here - know where to start?"

"Lighten up would you?" Jason replied as he drove on while the plane descended towards the airport. A street sign directed them to turn at the next intersection, and as Jason followed the directions. He drove on until they reached the open gate leading into the small airport

"I'm quite light - I eat mostly vegetables." Tom fires back as he waits for Jason to park.

Jason pulled up front, using Tom's condition as justification to use the handicap parking , pulling a mirror hangar to keep from getting towed. " So we take this nice and smooth, have a quick look at the chopper and head back home, right? No problem. "
He got out and brought Tom's chair from the trunk with a bit of a smirk," I know how much you llike accepting help."

"About as much as you used to when you were in the chair." Tom responds with an equally large smirk as he puts himself in. "So...are you expecting armed goons or super goons? Or is there some new type of goons we should be expecting guarding this? Giant robots? Cyborg bees? A radioactive poodle?"

"I'm hoping none, except maybe a 90 year old security guard, and you should be able to handle that on your own." Jason replied, then smirked, "I guess you don't want me to push then?"

"Like hell you'll push." Tom responds as he wheels himself forward.

"Suit yourself." Jason merely smirked as they approached the main entrance. inside, they quickly found the security checkpoint, where Jason quickly flashed his ID. The airport security officer was actually only have the age Jason had predicted, and he gave Tom an odd look. "You're a federal field agent? Sorry sir, no offence. "

"None taken. I get a lot of that. I look very young for my age. I'd show you my ID, but then you'd be forced to go to Gitmo, so we'll skip that if that's OK?" Tom couldn't resist hamming it up as he wheeled through.

"He's an analyst." Jason butted in, clearly mispronouncing the wor while glancing at Tom and smirked. " We need to have a look at the helicopters on site, to make sure they are not linked to a case we are working on. I assume we can expect your full co-operation?"
The guard nodded, "Yes sir, anything to help.l"
Jason nodded, and as he turned , he had a huge smile on his face'

The security guard led the pair to the row of hangars on the far side. He motioned to them, " There you go gentlemen."
"There has to be two dozen of them" Jason scowled.
"Twenty eight, counting the two the city owns." The guard replied. " Let me know if you need anything else." He started back to his office.
"Thanks." Jason called after him, then lowered his voice to speak to Tom," So, where do we start? City birds first or private?"

"I say private. City is too obvious and lazy for the Mayor. Actually, what is the mayor like? Does he smoke fine cigars while he cackles on Louis the XVI furniture? Does he have a monocle and pet a Persian? Or does he have a Gordon Gecko 80s wardrobe? Mountains of Coke? Seriously, what are we looking at here?" Tom responds.

" Nobody really knows much about Siang. He's run an import business for Oriental goods for about five years here in Miami, but nobody knows much about him other than he is a little old man who is hardly ever seen in public unless he has to." They approached the first hangar, but as Jason opened the door, the copter inside was as too small to be the one they were looking for.

"I see. Non-descript mystery man. So 90s." Tom looks about the hangars.
