Deciding to take a chance, Gabe gets himself a slice of banana bread and puts a bit of cheese whiz, then takes a bite...then another before saying "Odd combo...Not really sure what to think of it..." pausing a moment Gabe then says "Ah, Century Station...some really odd memories there." as he thinks to himself as tempting as it is and no matter how much faster it would be, don't read her mind. Don't read her mind...perhaps i should ask about the sweater though, its oddly out of place i think...

Sierra shrugged, " We have our own drama too, but not enough to affect the team In the field. Alice and Isamu are good field leaders, but neither of them have a lot of experience so they rely on the others to help. Luckily those two are level headed enough to keep Jason and Ashley in check, who are our biggest pains, especially Jason. He's worked for Mac the longest, and some of it he won't talk about. Ashley and Isamu are off in Hawaii right now so she can introduce him to her parents, so you'll meet them later. we also have a third, back up leader I guess, named Long. He used to be a police officer before he and a Trevor got in a fix after Trevor's girlfriend Allison was killed." Sierra explained as she smeared some of the cheese on a piece of banana bread and took a bite. " Trevor is recovering down in medical, so you'll have to wait to meet him too. Avi is former military, but he's also one of our medics so as long as we keep him and Jason apart he a nice guy. There's also Tom, who is out with Jason right now, who's one of our powerhouses but you would never guess it to look at, and he has a thing going with Beth up in the control room. She runs our control room for us. Did I forget anyone?" She scratched her chin.
"Besides me? Yes, Sara is downstairs helping Alice and Long try to get some info out of Rusty." Replied a man with a Jamaican tone as he entered. he slid up behind Sierra until he saw her snack," Gross, how do you eat that?" He kissed her cheek before nodding to the three newcomers, "Hi, I'm Kristian. It's my job to put you guys back together when you need it." He smiled.'

Calvin extends a hand to the newcomer. "Kristian, good to meet you. I'm Calvin. This is Gabe and Sylwia."
He turns back to Sierra. "That is a lot to remember... But our biggest pain left the team back in Seattle." He looks suspiciously at Gabe and Sylwia. "Not sure which of us is the biggest pain now." He shrugs. "Probably me."
"You know what they say - if you can't identify the difficult coworker in your department, it's probably you." He smiles. He takes a piece of banana bread and bites into it, without putting cheese on it.

"I not sure what you mean but I not think you are difficult at all. Oh and Calvin be right that my name is Sylwia but if you are spelling it, it has a w instead of the Americanized v. Although it still is a v for pronunciation." Sylwia says looking at the offerings and really glad she does not intake food.
"I be honest that I would not eat that offering if it was there but that be me." She says as she starts to drink the beverage she was offered and after a bit takes the whole drink down. "Wow that was interesting. Never had alcohol before and not sure how it will react as never really even intake liquid at all."

"Nice to meet you Kristian" Gabe says as he extends his hand in greeting. "Still, thats a lot of information to keep in mind for team dynamic. Any advice other than keep Avi and Jason away from each other?" he then turns to Cal and says "I doubt your going to be the troublemaker of us 3. Call it a hunch." before turning back to the conversation at hand.

Long walks into the room and stands at ease. "Hello everyone. I am Officer Long Fu, but in the field my code name is Lawman. It is good to see we have some new faces to add to the fight against evil and injustice. Welcome. We are currently in the middle of an investigation. So, sorry, there is no time for orientation. We need to get you guys out in the field right away. I understand there is a psychic among you. Please step forward."

Once Alice made her way to the main room to meet the others, Avi spoke up behind her, " Yeah, make sure you don't get between me and Jason if you can't keep us apart." He looked at Long," When do we leave?"

With a sigh at the suddenness of the situation, Gabe puts his drink down and stepping forward says "Gabe Walker, CopyCat in the field due to one of said Psychic abilities. Whats the situation and how can I help?" as he thinks to himself Psychic, they probably need me to scan a mind or something of the like, but he didn't ask for telepath or anything specific and thats where this is getting weird for me...

"We just received information that one of us we thought had been killed may have been brought back through magical means. We have no idea of her current state. We need to find her as quickly as possible. And the best way to do that is to find the wizard that did this. He has a couple safe houses in the city. We are going to check one of them out while Alice takes the others to the other location. May I ask what kind of psychic abilities you have?"

Gabe pauses for a second as he thinks So this is what its like to be on the other end of those conversations...not sure i like it or not... then Gabe says "Quite a few. Telepathy, Telekinesis, Imitating learned knowledge by making a deteriorating copy in my mind in tech terms, some healing, some physical manipulation, object reading, and what some call the Evil Eye to name a short hand list. That 3rd one is where i got my name. If you have a better one, i'm all ears." Gabe then waits to see Lawman's reaction.

Sylwia was about to say who she was until the suddenness of the situation did not lead to actual introductions. As such she lets Gabe do his thing telling about his powers. She does find it a bit odd that he went out demanding what the psychic could do without querying what the capabilities of the others are.
When a gap in the conversation does happen, "I am Sylwia just in case you wanted to know and that is Calvin."

Long gives an approving nod like he actually knows what most of that means. He then takes the time to shake everyone's hand. "I am very glad to meet you all. Sylwia and Calvin, you will be working with Alice on checking out the other safe house. She will be along any moment now. Gabe, let us head down to the armory to get suited up." Long leads the way.
"Are your psychic abilities impaired by wearing body armor or helmets at all?"

Gabe takes the hint and follows along. With a thoughtful look on his face, He says "Most helmets reduce vision which will lower my accuracy a little bit. A helmet that gives the widest view will reduce this chance. Some require touch, so no gloves. Other than that, I shouldn't be affected. How bad is the situation that we will be getting into and with how new I am to your team, how much leeway do I have to operate independently if it's necessary? And do you mind if I smoke on the way? It's a bad habit but it helps soothe's the nerves." After the rapid fire questions, Gabe starts trying to calm his mind with these final thoughts Keep calm, this is sudden, but not unexpected. The calm mind processes and fires faster then a chaotic mind...

"I have no idea what we are getting into. Being a cop I am used to wearing body armor. And you do not have to wear it. I just want to bring it along to be prepared. I will let you use your best judgement, but I will be in the lead on this operation. So, for the most part do what you think is right. I would prefer if you did no smoke, at least not in the vehicle. Do you have any training in weapons or do you just use your psychics?"
Long should already be dressed in his police uniform. So, when they get to the armory he puts on a point-blank vest (making sure his shield is on the vest). He also puts on his guns (one on is right hip and the other in his under the arm holster on the right side). He wants to start this as a cop. He also gets his Lawman suit ready with tonfas. He also wants to grab a couple power dampener cuffs, a couple regular cuffs, and some duct tape. That should do it for Long. What does Gabe need?

Calvin nods at Lawman's appraisal of the current situation. When he notes that they are in the middle of an investigation and may see some action, the smile disappears from his face and he is all business.
When he hears that they're potentially up against a wizard, Calvin thinks Wizard? Wonders never cease.
As Lawman offers to shake his hand, he takes it and offers a firm handshake. "Calvin. In the field, it's Paladin. Pleasure."
He turns to Sylwia "Checking out safehouses - we can do that. I can go fast, and she can go fastest." He smiles, unsure of what they might encounter. "Just tell us where and what to look for."
