Calvin smiles. "No, I think I'll let them have their smoke."
With that, he follows Mac into the building. Through the walk-through closet? This place must have some funky kind of layout...
Calvin enters the building following MacColter, at ease, though noting (if he can see them) what kind of security systems are in place. I should assume they have defense systems too, though those are likely to be concealed when not employed.

With a sigh, Gabe says "Yeah, sucky is a word." as he thinks to himself Well damn, looks like i'm going to be quitting this sooner than I thought. Starting to get that vibe that until I get that electronic smoking thing, i'm going to have her subtly trying to get me to stop. Finishing his smoke sooner than usual, Gabe says "Whenever you're ready then Syl. I just needed to take the edge off a bit so I didn't get snippy with people on the first meeting."

Mac led Calvin inside, and he was correct that there were no visible defenses as they entered, but he could see the construction looked like it could withstand a seige. Inside, he soon understood the walkthrough closet analogy, with large closets on either side of the door that could be converted to a small bedroom if needed. Beyond was a large open concept common room with the kitchen on their right and dining/living room beyond. On the right of the entrance was an elevator and stairwell, and beyond the room corridors ran the length of the building in each direction. Beyond the sitting area was a patio door that led to a large deck and he could see the ocean and beach just beyond.
The lone occupant of the room was just setting a tray of a variety of drinks, from beer to water, on the dining table. "Oh, hello Mr. MacColter. I was not sure what you and you frends would like." Oddly, despite the weather she wore a turtle neck and pants.
Mac smiled," Hello Sierra, This is Calvin. He and his two companions are being relocated to the Miami team."
"Hello " Said a bit shyly to Calvin. " Help yourself, or I can get you something else if you like? Or I can bring in your bags once they decide which room is yours."
Outside, as the pair finished their cigarettes and started towards the house and entered, they saw the same things, and could see Mac and Calvin already talking with someone.

Calvin smiles at Sierra. "Hello yourself." He looks at the tray of drinks. "I'll just have a coke for now. I can get my bags whenever - no need to trouble yourself."
He takes what he guesses to be a glass of coca-cola off the tray, and sips it.
"This is a pretty swank setup. Much nicer than I thought it'd be. Not that Syl's church was bad, but..." He shrugs, "I didn't have a whole lot of time to get used to it." He smiles as he takes another sip.
He nods to Gabe and Syl as they enter. "Nice setup, huh?"

"It be nice I guess although seems very sunny out this way. I guess that be something we need to used get to. No wait get used to. I have to say I like Seattle for cloudiness but that is OK as this is new land, new team and new life as they still let me be and deal stand as I do stuff here for government. So yes I guess nice set up is what I say." she says looking around and then seeing the other female waving. Reaching over and not really paying attention she grabs the most colourful of drink she can not thinking if it alcoholic or not.

"Yeah, its pretty nice. Hopefully we will be here longer than than a week this time. Not that its anybodies fault just...eh, nevermind." Gabe then looks at the refreshments before grabbing water and takes a drink. "Oh well, it can only go up from here right?" Gabe says with a thoughtful look outside.

MacColter's phone rang, and he pulled it out to answer," Hello?" he paused an instant before looking at his phone in confusion. " Isamu?" He looked at the others with a bit of concern, " I'm sorry, but something has come up. Sierra, can you see to your new house guests?"
"Of course." Sierra said as Dylin got up and headed for the stairwell at a brisk pace, dialling his phone as he went. Turning to Sylwia and Gabe, Sierra introduced herself," Hi, I'm Sierra. I look after things around the house while the others do the field work. I wasn't cut out for it, but I like to help out and they all like my cooking and baking. Can I get anyone a snack? I made cookies and banana bread this morning." She offered as she picked up the remaining drinks and took them back to the fridge, except for a can of Dr.Pepper she left on the counter. "are you all metahumans too?"
( the glass Cal grabbed was cola, but not a brand name kind. Syl's bottle turned out to be a bright blue , a vodka cooler that was blue raspberry flavoured.)

"Thank-you but no I do not eat at all. I usually do not like having liquids either." She said sipping her blue liquid. "This be good though!" She states enjoying the fluid. "And we be all, actually I know not what metahuman is?"

"Hello Sierra" Calvin says, offering a winning smile. "Pleased to meet you."
As Sylwia asks about metahumans, Calvin turns and responds. "Metahuman is... well... people with superpowers." He smiles, and takes a drink of his off-brand cola. He twists up his mouth and looks at the glass when he tastes the not-Coke. He sets the glass back onto the tray.

"Name's Gabriel Walker, but please call me Gabe. Thank you Sierra, and some banana bread would be lovely." Gabe replies before looking at Syl and Cal and saying "Yep, Metahumans. The term is a catch-all for people who are "beyond" the abilities of normal humans." with air quotes included at the word beyond "Catch-all is a term that just means includes all for your information Syl." as he thinks to himself Great, now i feel like a walking dictionary. Hopefully i don't come across as "uptight".

Sierra looks at Sylwia and replies, " It is much kinder than the names we normally get, like freak or mutant. Even if it fits for some of us." She walked over to the kitchen and pulled out the loaf and began cutting off slices, putting them on another serving tray along with the butter dish and oddly, a bottle of cheez whiz. She returned with it, " So where did Mr. MacColter bring you to us from?"

"We were in Seattle before come here we did. But that not important as we be here now and far away from there." Sylwia answers plainly. "Before that we be in Century Station. But that even though maybe two weeks ago seem like really, really long time."

Calvin looks suspiciously at the bread and Cheez Whiz. After Syl answers, he adds, "Yeah, things in century station were hectic, and some of that followed us to Seattle. But I think some of that drama went away with the members we lost, and some of it... we dealt with. I think we got the kinks hammered out."
He adds, "Name's Calvin, or Paladin. So... what's it like here? What're the other team members like?"
