Vivian side-eyes Rex when he raised his tea cup and talked to Lex. 'Is he mocking Lex?' Vivian wonders to herself. Not wanting to start anything Vivian just keeps sipping her tea, thinking she should be helping Lex instead of lounging around.

At Rex's jibe, Lex stood up and put his fists on his hips. "You are more than welcome to join in, Mr. Cranston." He offered with a hint of disdain in his tone.

The Duchess takes Lex's arm like a courtesan. "Oh, please, we need to thank Mr. Gunnar for his hard work. I for one, good sir, am grateful." She flashes a daring smile. "Now, we'll be setting down at our campsite by sundown, then after a night's rest, making our way by foot."
Rex - roll perception.
Vivian has the attention of many of the men on the airship - including a Magnesium magnate from Paris, a steel tycoon from Michigan, and several of the adventurers making up the actual expedition crew.

Vivian is polite to the men who seem to be vying for her attention, but is careful to not flirt too much. Her mother's mistaken assumption aside, Vivian was here to work, not get stuck with a husband.

The Duchess smiles at Lex. "That sir, is not a problem." She puts her free hand over her mouth to cover her smile.
Rex, you seem to think the airship is a bit sluggish as it begins to descend - hopefully nothing major. The crew and the expedition party seem happy with matters.
Vivian manages to keep her potential suitors directed at each other rather than her, though she does notice Matt grinning in a corner.
The airship lands and the crew begins to unload the supplies.

Lex couldn't smirking a bit himself. " If you'll excuse me, I had better get back to work, milady." He couldn't help blushing a bit, unsure why she would be paying any attention to him.

Vivian wonders why Matt is smirking at her, but is distracted by Rex's comment about the air ship. A bit concerned, Vivian hopes there aren't any problems brewing as she waits for the Duchess to answer Rex's question.

The Duchess responds. "Probably not used to all this humidity. We should disembark and set camp." She raises a glass. "To a successful expedition!"

Lex scowled slightly at the others and their silly toasting as he got back to work. He wasn't entirely sure the crew was trustworthy, in fact Vivian and Matt were the only ones aboard he knew he could trust.
