Vivian shrugs at Lex and says, "I can try." Vivian then tries to hit one of the spires with an arrow.

Vivian's shot strikes true, and causes all the spires to turn an unnatural shade of blue and begin vibrating. You can see a pale blue nimbus of light beginning to form.
Matt Cable's eyes go wide. "I reckon this ain't good."
The Duchess says nothing, but her hand goes to the holster in her jodhpurs.

The blue energy from the pillars fire off in bolts, creating central vortexes of light swirling in the near dark. The vortexes descend into the ground, and form pools of blue white liquid. A giant humanoid face, the size of a car, forms, it begins to form words soundlessly.
The Duchess smiles. "Now that is something."
(Save vs. Horror factor of 15).

Vivian frowns, a bit confused. "Do you hear that?" she asks the others, "It seems like whatever it is trying to speak and form words." Vivian concentrates to see if she can make out the words the face seems to be trying to form.
