Deci seeing Sierra and is still a bit flustered takes another breath to calm herself. "I am questioning the actions of a team that seeks to not follow law when they are in fact agents of the law. It is Isamu all over again but no one steps in to do this. But I do not need to let you have my anger, just that I was raised by the ADA of Miami and I can not risk anything to get him in trouble either." She says calming herself as she speaks and just wanting to vent.

How is their bending the rules to find Allison's killer any more wrong than letting Randy relocate when he should have been charged and held accountable for his crimes as a Brethren member? I think I understand your point of view better than most, but please consider this. You want the team to be straight laced and law abiding,but if those that make the laws are already corrupted, then what are we upholding in the first place? Perhaps you simply have a bigger conscious than the others, and that is not such a bad thing, but I think you might be too quick to question their intentions. Otherwise, would they have broken into that Brethren stronghold and assaulted many of them in your rescue?" Without a second thought, the former team member turned housekeeper took the mop she was leaning on and went back to cleaning the floors.
Beth turned to Tom, her eyes watery, "Please don't make this any more difficult Tom. I'm glad I have you to fall back on, but I have to handle this myself. I need the closure. I just need Bert to sign off on the divorce papers and it's over. Problem is this," she motioned towards her face," is what I ended up with for warning him I wanted it settled so I could move on when he showed up at office. "The difference is as far as I was led to believe is that Randy was taken in legal witness protections as no one had mentioned it. It was only mentioned that there was going to be a hiding and that is all and considering the laws of this land makes him the perfect viable person for witness protection. But if that is not the case then I will have to make that right too and just one more hiccup. Nor did I want them to storm the area as we were actually making our own plan of escape and in that case I did everything right including taking a risk by putting down my badge and breaking the law on my own terms and not one as a federal agent. You know what everyone just thinks they are right and I am just wrong and are going out of their way to prove that to me so what honestly is the point." Then without another word she heads to her room.

Trevor and Long would still be on the run trying to clear their names and no one would know Trevor was not responsible for Alison's death and Long would most certainly have been thrown off the police force for aiding a fugitive. Jason would be locked away for his part in the destruction when Ragnarok was stopped and all sorts of other things and Alice would at least have been deported for helping him. The Brethren would still all be running loose if Isamu and Alice had not led the raid on their hideout without a warrant no judge in their right mind would ever issue, and that means none of them would have been there to help get you out of that dungeon where you and Randy were trapped when Deth caught you." Sierra paused a moment, letting her words sink in. " I don't like the idea of anyone breaking the law any more than you do, but some times we don't have a choice but to bend them a little. Does that make a little bit of sense?"

"While I may agree with some of what you are saying, I don't think you understand where I am coming from but I also don't think this will be a winning situation where we come to agreement. One thing is for certain is that this team is a clique and at least for now my knowledge is not needed or required. In fact with my basket case mode I would even dare to say I am a detriment to them. As such I will probably need a break of some sort. have a good night Sierra." She tries to smile knowing the rant she wants to let loose but also knowing that it will fall on deaf ears. Not two weeks ago this team had a meeting, skills were shared including knowledge of law. And yet still this team does not function to use it. Maybe it is outsiders only and let us face facts. That is what I am.
OK my parents are getting back together so going home is out of the question as I should give them some time. Maybe it is time for a vacation, or at least a break from all of this. Although this will not go well. She thinks as her decision is made. As such she picks her head up and heads to find Alice. Once found, "Alice I am sorry but I will need to take a leave of absence effective immediately. Please if possible I would prefer you not to ask why."

Alice raises an eyebrow at December's announcement, a little surprised that December's way of trying to work with the team is to quit when things got hard. All she says out loud is, "Very well. If that's what you want, permission granted." Alice adds, "And to make sure you understand the earlier conversation, no one called you a moron. Jason called Tom a moron in a joking fashion. In addition, we're not going forward with the warrant idea." Since December has just given her notice to leave the team for an indeterminate amount of time, Alice doesn't go into details. "Is there anything else you need?"

"I realize that now, but when I asked where the warrant came from and the first one said they remade it moron it was hard not to make the leap. But that is my issue not yours. That is all I need. Thank-you." She responds.

Then Deci came down to tell Alice she was taking a leave of absence. "Look, do you guys need me for anything else? Because ejecting Deci through the house is starting to look like a sound solution for her problems. Maybe when she's gone we can get some work down without her interfering."

When Sara is finished Long steps up.
"Alice, I am not sure if Sara already told you, but Deci and I walked in on Rusty's interrogation. We interrupted her and apparently Sara lost the advantage in the conversation. Sara has pretty much given up on questioning Rusty at this point. There is only one way we will get Rusty to talk now. We need to strike a deal. And I have an offer I think she will take. I will offer her a one-on-one, no-holds-barred fight with me. If I win she tells us everything she knows about the M.E. I think I can take her, but I would need some preparation first. Does the team have access to a weapons expert that could modify my tonfa?"

Alice nods at december and says "You're welcome." When Long explains what happened when Sara was interrogating Rusty, Alice understands Sara's comments regarding December a little better. Alice frowns at Long's idea and looks very hesitant. "I have to admit I'm not sure I like this idea. What happens if you lose? She just walks free?" Alice looks at Avi and then Sara, trying to gauge their reactions to Long's idea.
