"Wolverine..Do the X-men have allies here they'd go to or enemies that may try and and capture them out here?" Blink asked. She stayed close the senior X-man as he seemed to be the most capable of the lot, "It would seem most likely that would be one of the two scenarios to happen." she offered.
"Atlas look for villages, camps or smoke. if the X-men have any injured they or there captors won't be moving fast since there of more value alive than dead." she answered then went to Songbird.
"Songbird..Does Hawkeye keep a spare bow and quiver in the Quinjet? I am able to use a bow..though not nearly as skilled as he is though. and those trick arrows might be handy." she asked quietly.

"if you can't get a good scent we have no direction we just have scouting and Kazaar." she paused, "Any sites an enemy or ally would use should be our scouting focus...Perhaps Kazaar saw or heard something." she looked to the rest. Blink figured a flyer and someone who met Kazaar already would be a good choice |

Tally turns to Quicksilver and smiles "I am coming then." She says as she flies towards him and follows suit. "I am betting though you will want me in the sky to do this to make it easier?" She asks not sure what the full plan is but after saying that waits for his answer.

"For general safety Pair off and If you have no wilderness survival skills go with one who has some. Just in case." Blink nodded and agreed as She hulk spoke up, "I'll need someone familiar Kazaar to contact him via radio if possible..otherwise go on foot, fly whatever." she spoke to group as whole.
"We will need to set a camp and get things sorted out here. we might be in this jungle awhile and if Kazaar is not around we'll on our own. Tally You and Quicksilver scout the area." blink nodded to confirm this to the pair.
"Remember, The quinjet has food and fresh water pills or water itself so do not drink local water if you can help it. The High Lord knows what kind of bacteria is in it or how it may affect us." She looked at them all.
"Spidey, need you to find a way to track the X-men's comms might give a direction Try the blackbirds wreckage for any useful components and use the quinjets comm system. I'll join you I want see what or who brought it down as well." Blink looked around at all the faces. The last thing they needed was boredom or inactivity. So it seemed wise to keep them busy doing what they do best.
"Any questions? if not, we have a plan. I shouldn't need to remind anyone..be careful its a jungle out there..." she grinned and went to the Quinjet provided there were no questions. Once having seen if hawk left a bow and quiver on the Jet then to the blackbird to help spidey as she wanted see what did bring it down.

Hearing the orders being barked out and being left out of them, Tabitha looked at Daredevil, " So, nothing? I guess this jungle is throwing you off anyways, right? All these extra sights and sounds are overwhelming. I don't even know where to start."

Spider-Man tilts his head at Blink. "And what makes you think I know how to do any of that?"
Atlas fires back. "She figures that the smart mouth probably should have the brain to match."
"Two, two votes of confidence! I feel so special." Spider-Man produces a few scorched components from a web-bag on his back. "I could maybe make something out of this. Give me a few."
Songbird nods to Blink. "Nice call."
"Careful, Mel - she might be angling for your spot."
"I can handle myself, Atlas. And it's Songbird in the field."
"Yes ma'am." The giant grins.
"To answer your question, Blink, Hawkeye's not one to leave equipment laying around. I'm afraid you'll have to make due with the gear you have."

"Stay with me for now - a low profile would likely be best. Whatever took down the X-Men's Blackbird is likely to be on the lookout for flyers." Quicksilver answered Tally. "Look out for any sign of our wayward mutant friends."

"You look like you might be geek under the mask and most of your alternate reality counter parts were techies. That and if you make your own spider tracers..this should be easy. Now atlas why would you think I'd want her job? Avengers have paper work...do I look like the kind of person who works a desk?" Blink grins at Atlas comment as she left the quinjet.
"used to be a team lead before this job." she told songbird once away from the others, "Its something you never quite lose. I'll be heading to that crashed black bird, if it was shot down the damage should have a disticntive look too it. Might even give us a hint at who did it. You need anything before I head out?" Blink responds, Careful to not challenge the team lead. She was in no way qualified to lead this bunch. The E-xiles were a smaller and focused team. More so they were mostly people like her with out a real home..she had something in common with them..these avengers..she had far less in common.
"I can make a bow out of out local materials just as easy if I need one. That no problem." she nods and heads over to look at the blackbird and try an piece it together. If only she had her magneto or Morph..anyone of the old team. Even some of her X-men. But that was clearly not the situattion and Sabretooth's little girl was no push over, just like her 'adoptive' father.

"I understand and will comply." Tally says as she starts to fly low and through the foliage as provided by the land. She keeps an eye out the best she can to see if anything can be ascertained at all. She while flying tries not to get distracted by the internal thoughts running through her head. Things like about Quicksilver, her mom and a bunch of other things.

DD says to Tabby, "I smell ozone, some kind of motor, or electrical blast maybe." He shakes his head, "Honestly, I prefer the concrete jungle to this one." He turns around and looks towards the other Avengers, he hadn't been given orders either, funnily enough as he had been here before too.
"If I were here alone," he says low enough for only Tabby and anyone with advanced hearing to pick up, "I would try and follow that smell, if its a trail that is. It should stand out, as you dont expect much burning electrical smell in a jungle. Being here as an Avenger though, I guess I need to tell someone what I found so they can decide what we should do next," he says with an exaggerated sigh.
In that same low tone of voice he says to Tabby, "I guess we could just go together you and I and see what we can find, while they make camp, look for water, phone a friend or whatever the hell their working out over there."

Tally and Quicksilver run through the jungle until they hit the edge of a massive canyon. Looking down, they see a primitive mine; simple jungle dwelling humans are forced to labor under the merciless whips of monstrous overseers (the folks on the left side of this image)  They are wheeling out rocks for no reason, while another group is carving an image into the side of the canyon.  "We need to tell the others. I think we've found the missing villagers." Quicksilver frowns. Atlas shrinks down to normal size. "All clear. Which is weird." "Why do you say that?" Songbird asks. "Well, if they could knock down this X-jet or whatever it's called-" "Blackbird." Spider-Man joins in. "X-Men are known for their love of the White Album." "Point is - if they could find and knock down one jet, they could probably have done it to us." Songbird nods. "Alright everyone, let's move slowly and cautiously - look for traps." |
