(Wolverine, Kitty, Blink, Ghostsabre, Daredevil)
Kitty drove the van down the winding roads leading out of Westchester proper into the tree-shaded verdant green near the X-Mansion. She hadn't gotten a call from Peter (Colossus) in a few days, and was wondering what was going on. Wolverine had rented the van and sat in the passenger side, cowboy hat pulled low over his eyes and trying to take a nap and ignore Ghostsabre and Daredevil in the seat directly behind him. Blink sat in the backseat and simply enjoyed the novelty of being in a car again.
(Spider-Man, She Hulk, and Aura)
Doctor Foster called from the simulator control room. "Alright, we're just checking some things on power levels and time - we don't have much data on either of you and Cap wants a better idea of your capabilities. And Atlas? We need to measure your energy output. She-Hulk? Keep an Eye on Atlas' performance."
The big man nodded. "Roger that." Atlas seemed apprehensive as he stood above a giant piston. As it lowered, he expanded to 20 feet in height and caught it, beginning to press against it.
Spider-Man sat before a box loaded with spring-loaded blunt spheres.
Aura had a system of rings lined up in the sky before her. Her exercise was simple - when a ring lit up, she had to fly through it as fast as she could.

"Uuumm not sure this was the wisest move. Won't your X-men be uneasy about a dead woman walking around?" Blink asked, "I could easily be perceived as an invasion of their personal memories?" She rarely had to deal with long term consequences of dealing with counterparts..particularly her own or people who knew her counterparts.
She did wonder if this the same Bishop Magneto saved..But considering how things went. Asking was nearly as dangerous dealing apocalypse.

"Relax Blink. They accepted me, and can your story be much worse than the alternate dimension daughter of two X-Men that just happens to be their age showing up?" Tabitha said with a bit of a smirk that faded quickly as she glanced at the mirror, hoping her comment didn't offend Kitty. She had only been cleared by Doc Foster the evening before, and was thankful for the clean bill of health.
Her attention shifted to Daredevil seated next to her and she casually let her fingers slide over towards him until she was able to slip her hand into his. She had no idea how much time he had been there while she recovered, but vaguely remembered him at some point.

Kitty glances into the rear-view mirror at Tabitha's comment, a slight smirk touching her lips. "It's weird, but I suppose one gets used to it." she replies back to her, glancing to Logan for a moment before turning her gaze back out the front. "So, why am I driving when you rented this thing?" she asks him, tone playful rather than irritated.

"Your not someone else who already exists or existed here I just don't want anyone getting any old feelings positive or negative to me is all." she shrugged, "As for back story...I've seen a lot of X-men good and bad die..some of those Xmen deserved others did not. who are villains here..You have no idea how weird this is for me." She sounded like a soldier who was with out a war.

Grunts, brim of the cowboy rising just a bit at Kitty’s question. "Could always walk," the smirk unseen thanks to the cowboy hat and his reclined position in the seat.
Hearing Blink’s remark, and the tone accompanying it, sits up a bit more, enough to look back at her. "You do your best in the situation you’re in with the resources on hand. But you’re not alone in feeling like that. If that doesn’t work, drinking and harassing younger X-Men helps."

Aura takes a bit of time to actually observe and learn the exercise before going through with it and doing what she can to complete it. Being a teenager still leaves her in the seat of trying to show off and actually will get annoyed when some of the rings are missed.

DD had not gone far during Tabby's recovery. He was concerned about her, and they had not even started a relationship yet really. Well maybe... technically. In all honesty he wasn't sure. He was just glad she was ok and back on her feet. That part was kinda important if they were going to try and see where things were going to go. He had let Foggy handle things while he stayed near by her, and now again he put things on Foggy once again. 'I really need to find a way to make things up to him,' he thought.
He had been in thought facing the window, but obviously not seeing anything. The only reason he was going on this little road trip was because of Tabby. He wasn't an X-man, he had no intention of joining up. He was already a member of one club he really didn't want to be a part of.
He was startled out of his thoughts when Tabby takes his hand. He turns his head in her direction and offer's her a smile as he squeezes her hand. He doesn't say a word though, as others were making sure there was no silence, something someone of his abilities longed for. The ambient noise around him could be quite distracting and near debilitating if he didn't focus hard on tuning it out. As it was, he could more than likely pick out he heart beats of each person in this vehicle out of a crowd, could tell that the engine was just starting to develop a tap that no one else could really hear, not to mention the smells surrounding him. Yeah adding to the distractions was not something he needed to do, now he could just focus on the touch of Tabby's fingers as they rested in his hand.

The Van pulls up to the X-Mansion. Even with the leaves just starting to turn, the campus was bright with color. For DD, he could hear the whistle of the leaves, and smell fresh and cool air that had not even touched the concrete of a city. It was cleansing to a man of his supersenses, as the leaves whipped around his radar sense.
But neither DD nor Wolverine could hear the sound of a single soul inside.

Jen yawns as she watches Atlas go through the paces of testing the full extent of his abilities. Spotting for a giant guy seem like a routine activity.

"So...are these supposed to turn into Spider-Killer robots or something? Cause I've definitely already done that. Or wait! Maybe they turn into Nick Fury LMDs? Wait, am I supposed to know that? Is that classified? There's only so many times Nick Fury can show up at your door before something's not classified anymore, right? Right guys? Am I right?"

[Heh, Spider-Man, dead on]
"...odd..." Tipping his cowboy hat up out of his eyes, pops his claws. "Don't smell anyone home...Kitty, could you make sure the van's ready if we need to bolt?" asked Logan, approaching the front doors.

Foster's voice is calm and reassuring even over the intercom. "It's OK Aura, we need to get an idea for your speed and maneuverability, and for you Webhead," He chuckles. "Need to see if you're as fast as your mouth." The cylinders spring at the Wall-Crawler like guided missiles.
She-Hulk watches Atlas hold up the cylinder and can see the strain on his face.
"You're at 40 tons, Josten." "Keep goin'" "You sure? You're looking pretty-" Atlas swells another five feet. "KEEP. GOING." Having only occasionally listened to Hank Pym's dissertations on size changing, and more time gossiping with Jan, she knew that size changers became more mentally and physiologically unstable the bigger they got, as well as more powerful.

Blink was ever ready for a conflict, the good side was she was rarely caught off guard. bad side...relationships and family while a guard was permanently up were difficult in the best of times. Right now it was not the time for personal reflection.
"I know that look, Logan...You picking up anything remotely useful? and before you ask, your version in my reality had the same look. and would have his good hand's claw out at the ready." she recalled the Logan she knew. The Assassin, the killer, the one who turned her Kitty pride into death incarnate. This would be something to ponder were they not in a situation. her Sabretooth always warned her about him..this wolverine did not have that particular vibe. Like a good soldier she drew a weapon and was ready with out even thinking about it.

"You sure you want to keep doing this Atlas?" Jen said. "You look about ready to pop."
Jen hope that Atlas didn't suffer from the same condition that Pym did from time to time; an over abundance of ego and desire to prove himself. Atlas already did that more than enough times to satisfy Jen, especially after the fight against Titania and Creel.
