Flip shakes his head, "not that I saw. Outside its clear, and the vegetables are still growing," he says with a shrug. "Mensk was up there, think he was thinking about tearing us a new navigation system or something, you know how he is."
Flip sits down, "Captain I gotta ask, do you know which way your leaning yet? As you said eventually everyone is going to have to make a choice, just wondering if you made yours yet," he asks obviously referring to the Dominion of Humanity stuff that has been all over the news.

Jessica grins as she has a breakthrough as to what the problems are in regards to the gun. She starts trying to figure out exactly what she would need to do to make a Gimmule-styled energy clip and whether she had all the materials she would need.

In the cargo hold
McKenna's vigilence of the rat paid off. She watched it very slowly leave the wall, squaking. It was so engrossing, it took her a moment to realize her trajectory had changed because of an unfeeling racketball impact on her non-swing shoulder.
In one of those windowed hallways leading to an engine nacel
As Mensk walked, he saw McKenna clearly focused on something that was not a ball (he couldn't see what). However, he did see the ball ricohet off her shoulder, causing her to rotate a little. The ball conitnued on its new path.
In Jessica's workshop
Engineer rolls to decide if parts (spare or cannibalizable) are available on the ship, please.
In the Galley Tawfeek put his tablet down. "I will look out us," he said. "Which means, for as long as possible, we are a neutral, independent business."
He slid the tablet over to Foreman. "And besides, we work for a mafia kingpin, this week. You think he'll not try and sway us to his side, first?"
On the tablet was an article about the Dominion. The jist of the article was an attempt to have the UN delcare that an organization needs dry land to be eligible for nation status. Anything else is simply a business and should stay out of the UN.
"Besides, we may not have to choose a side," Tawfeek said, expositionally. "It looks like folks like us - even the big ones like Freedom and Laika - are about to be forced out of any say in the Dominion's acitivities."

Per: Initative: JiC: JiC: Curious mengsk approached and looked at what Mckenna was looking at. It must have been important...if it was tomatoes..he'd have a good use for them. He could use them as trade for some the sub components if things went horribibly bad.
"What are you doing?" the engineer asked, he was tempted to shut gravity off but figured she may not be in the best mood for a joke.

Flip grabs the tablet and looks over whats on it. He says, "we may be left out of it, or forced to work for it. It would be nice to be left to our own devices. Hope thats the case."

"OW!" McKenna cried out as the ball both hurt and surprised her at the same time, causing her to immediately hold her arm after switching racquet hands. When Mengsk spoke, she looked at him and said through gritted teeth, " Theres something else in here, a rat I think, a big one."

"A rat...Well it wouldn't be a Space Hamster would it?" he grinned.
"I can see him now..Just get a box then seal him in it and then hand me the box." Mengsk offered, "Oh and I think you may have another trying to take your job in the greenhouse..." he chuckled. looking around for an open box he could nail shut or seal up and carry the unfortunate rat in. A shoe box would be ideal..but the chances of a shoe box here was slim.
He'd either space the rodent or build it a cage..it depended on his mood and if there was Peanut butter and crackers on board he guessed. Unless the rat liked tomato soup in which case it could have his.

GM note (a bit of a gimme, but, you know): The corridor Mensk is in is wall/glassed off completely from McKenna. They can hear each other, but to hand something off, they will need to open a door. (Options include either the two main airlock doors on level 1, or the vacuum hatch from when they were on the moon.)

Her shoulder throbbing, McKenna shot a dirty look at Mengsk despite her pain, "Shut up, Mengsk! This isn't funny. Get Flip to turn on the gravity in here and then you can get rid ofit

Jessica continues to work on the pistol, smiling as she works on the challenge of making the gimmule clip, hoping the parts she needs are on the ship.

Use one of the Racket ball packages if you need to. that should be big enough. I'll see What I have on me I can stow the rat in if its not."

" I AM NOT CATCHING A GODDAMNED RAT!!" McKenna snapped at Mengsk." If you aren't going to help, then make yourself useful and call the bridge for me. I sure Flip or the captain will help." She reached back and touched her shoulder, testing how badly bruised it was. At the same time she tried pointlessly to make her way towards the door

"Then sit still and I'll be in there and do it myself. the moment you reactivate gravity it'll run before we can get it." he paused
"Its a rat and your at least 10-30 times its size. You do know that right? And I have to count on you when we face goons with guns...I feel safer already." he shook his head as he muttered, "You should see someone about that since the ship probably has a few more rats in it. You'd think rats would figure out that Zero-gee concept by now." he shrugged.
"But I do have a serious question..A man with a gun doesn't scare you? and a rat does, so how is that tiny rat more frightening?" he looked for a box or something. worse case he'd put on heavy, but flexible work gloves and grab the little guy then get gravity reactivated. he couldn't let it get away.. What he'd do with it he was not so sure.

"Guys with guns don't spread diseases like bubonic plague,Leptospirosis or typhus." McKenna fired back, looking for the rodent. " Guys with guns don't leave ships derelict by chew power cables, then feast on the dying once starvation sets in. Yes, I hate rats, and the only good one is a dead one."

"Fair points, let me get the little plague then will get your gravity back." Mengsk replied, "Has to be something here to hold till we can dispose of it. this does give me an idea..zero gee the ship and catch any stray rats still on board he thought to himself. Might also be a good security method too. He'd need to send to the ships security person.
