Still being proper was checking them anyway. the main circuits he lefe alone as to not deprive the ship of navigation systems. he could switch to auxilary if they checked out. better safe than sorry.
the second portion would be the actual program and map files. making sure they were updated and properly placed was key. Last thing they needed was to get lost..

Flip looks down to see Mensk once again messing with the ship, "hey Mensk, Don't disconnect everything at once. I know its pretty empty, but if we run into an errant beach ball, we're gonna need to veer or something."

I haven't taken the main nav system off line. just looking at the back up and not altering anything yet just seeing if its all up to spec ." he paused, "or as up to spec as this ship gets..and for the record space is not as empty as we think. plenty of things out there. just most of it not alive or made of matter we can generally see or interact with." he adds.

"I knew you wouldn't just saying. If you need help, let me know I'll be up here," He says before sitting at a computer station and pulls up the camera's in the ship. He looks at the one in the hydroponics bay and looked at the plants growing. He sighs, "never thought I'd be so interested in plants growing.

"I pretty sure its not the plants your interested in." he joked, "Personally I'm not keen on dating Co-workers...thats an opertunity to put a knife in your back so to speak. this system seems fine." he pulled out an electronic meter and checked the circuits one at a time to see if the were properly charged.

"Yeah whatever Mensk, you tell me its not the plants the next time you sit in front of a bowl of tomato soup," Flip says. He really wished they could find a way to speed up this trip. 'Everyone is going to be stir crazy by the time we do land.' he thinks to himself, in his head, where no one else can hear him.

In Jessica's workshop
(OOC: I apologize for the colour. New version of the board has removed the trusty "LimeGreen" setting. I may just do bolding or something.)
As McKenna's ball seemingly randomly thunked in the background, Jessica continued her work on the gun.
With the ion gun splayed out around her, Jessica was starting to get a sense of where the original designers had gone wrong. Rather go with a Gimmule-styled energy clip, of some sort, they had tried to make a super-micro-fied batter-generator thing. Naturally, a gimmule clip wasn't going to be easy to jury-rigg, but would certainly solve the consumption issues.
On the bridge
Foreman noticed that plants grow very slowly. Like, slower than it takes paint to dry.
Mensk was finding no problems with the wiring... Espcially since they were connected and not giving off anything on the wire-tester.
In the cargo hold
McKenna was getting the exercise of her life, dodging an eratic ball.
She soon discovered she wasn't the only one.
As the ball bounced near the crate, it dislodged something small and furry, with a long pink tail. And it was flailing desperately towards her. Well, actually, it was trying desparately to scurry away from her, but who's to know in a zero-G space?

Bridge then off to the halls of the ship: "Yeah whatever Mensk, you tell me its not the plants the next time you sit in front of a bowl of tomato soup," Flip says. He really wished they could find a way to speed up this trip. 'Everyone is going to be stir crazy by the time we do land.' he thinks to himself, in his head, where no one else can hear him. "Your not the first to like something for reasons of an emotional nature. And atleast you don't have to worry about the motivations. Were we in a company you'd need to protect financal assests, put passwords on computers, encrypt files...just incase she was after something or trying to learn something about you." he pauseed checking further circiuts and power feed status. The fun part was he had to check more than wires. but with the bulkof the boards clean he was happy with the set up. More could be done once at saturn. "I didn't eat the tomato soup. one of my co workers back in the company loved Tomatoes, had them everyday...I got sick of looking at them after 3 years..Couldn't eat one now unless I was starving." he grinned as he made his way out the bay and made sure it was cleaned up. "I have some minor power flow check ups to do, try focus on the piloting and not the 'plants'."he joked as he left the bridge.

Flip scratched his head as Mensk departed. He literally had no idea what Mensk was talking about. He turns back to the screen to keep watching the slow growing plants. He shook his head, "i need a better hobby."

McKenna let out a squeal as she saw whatever it was coming towards her and pushed off hard to launch herself out the way. As she did, she wished she had taken zero gravity training

Flip leaves the bridge and heads back to the Galley to get a nother cup of coffee. If he sees anyone he says, "we are still flying straight."

Cargo Hold (Where the most fun is happening)
There are now three objects moving chaotically through the cargo hold: 1. A racquet ball 2. A rat 3. A McKenna...
McKenna pushes off the wall just as the unhappy rat squeaks past her (pun) to land on a wall.
The racquet ball hates walls. Either that, or it is unsympathetically elastic. It bounces off a wall, heading back into the middle of the space.
Incidentally, so is McKenna.
The rat had other plans. It wanted to stay firmly on the wall. However, rats, despite hundreds of years of space travel, haven't figured out that if you crouch on a solid, smooth surface, you really end of leaving that surface.
The rat isn't so much heading to the middle of the room, but the frantic reaching for the wall resumed.
In the hall
Where's Mensk a-goin'?
In the Galley
Tawfeek looked up from his reading. "I had no doubt." He said. "Anything exciting happening on the ship? Or outside the ship?"
Jessica's workshop
To Gimmnule-clip, or not to Gimmule-clip. That is the question. Whether it is nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of a self-powering ion gun or, in a moment, charge them...

Mengsk was doing a brief look over most of the systems and seeing if the comm stations worked. In genreal doing what he could to stay out the way. His plans for a network for freelancers still working through his mind it occored they would need a backer. but who? had to be someone. Unless he could get a station orr hidden astroid base like some comic book villian...
(OOC: AKA intro me any where you happen to need a second toon in.)

Mckenna only focused on one thing as she pushed herself clear. The rat. Her racquet was at the ready, prepared to swat it away if it came near again.
