"Huh?" Peter's gaze headed back from Hammerhead's table to MJ. "Oh! I was just saying that you're so beautiful that they're going to realize that they need you in the ads to even sell the thing!" He glances back at Murdock and Hammerhead's areas and then back at MJ. "I'm sorry. I'm just a bit distracted. It's like, every time I try to do something normal, like bake a cake or go out with you to dinner, something giant and catastrophic has to happen! Like the Rhino is gonna go charging past the window or the crew in the corner over there is going to try to rob the whole joint and I'll have to figure out how to save you and everyone else in here with no costume and along side old horn head over there. It's just a bit much."

Matt frowns. Before the waiter returns he says, “I’m so sorry that your uncomfortable Tabby. Next time you pick the place, I really just want you to have a good time.”
“Can I make a suggestion? I recommend the Spaghetti with tomato sauce and ask a side of the chefs special meatballs. The flavor is amazing and the meatballs are to die for. I will get a chicken dish and you can try it, and if you like mine better we can switch, or we can just share both,” he says offering her a smile.
When the waiter comes he says to To tabby, “If that sounds OK I can order for us both, or we can take some more time.
If she agrees he will say to the waiter, “I will have the Penne with Roasted Chicken and Radicchio, and the lovely lady will have Spaghetti with sauce and a side order of the chef’s special meat balls.”
If she declines he will ask the waiter for some more time yet again.

As Kitty checked her phone, she saw the message was from Hawkeye.
When your done checking in with hubby, grab the old guy & meet us at the Warehouse, pub side
Piotr looked over her shoulder and chuckled, "I know I've never gotten a message like that from Scott or Ororo."
Xavier nodded," Quite right, Logan. Though I hardly expect you to take on the role of ambassador." He smiled. " I need to get to a conference call with Moira. Was there anything else I could do for you, Logan?"

Blink couldn't really see or here anything in the darkness that seemed like a way out, except through the room she had entered through. Before she could head that way, one of the blues had approached and was talking to her," Hi. New to these things?"
The woman politely replied, " I'm Colleen. My first time here. I can't say I'm enjoying this."
Another pink passed close," Colleen, are you going to help?" Steve was positive he knew the voice, it sounded like Sharon Carter.
[Aura and She Hulk]
"Wait up."Melissa was the last to hit the dance floor and quickly joined in moving to the music. The dance floor was filling up, and as Melissa moved closer to Aura, Jenn saw another familiar face in the crowd, or however the familiar golden mask of Madame Masque for just a moment, then was gone amongst the crowd.
[Daredevil and Spiderman]
"No Matt, don't be sorry. I'm just out of my element. I am enjoying myself, really." Tabitha smiled and Matt could tell that she was sincere. The waiter took the menus and left them alone. "I didn't see that on the list. I've had spagetti before, but I can't beleive they serve canned pasta here."
"Relax Tiger." Mary Jane reached across the table and took Peter's hand. "Maybe for once nothing will happen and you're just being paranoid." She winked and leaned back as the waiter brought their food, " though it worth it to see you try to bake a cake."

Tally ignores all around her and cuts loose like never before on teh dance floor finally letting go of any of her reserved side. Even floating up at one point not caring if attention is on her. In her mind she is blue and therefore sticks out like a sore thumb. She keeps an eye out for a beverage that is nearby and if one is handy she will grab it. Anything that matches the cherry coke from earlier.

Blink was rather bothered at being confined and not knowing what it was made it worse. But that was no reason to be rude and ruin whatever the event was. If it was an event in the firrst place. This may have been some mad doctor or supervillians idea of a prank...
"Ahh ya," she paused a second and saw a possibility to get an idea of where she was exactly. This guy probably knew. He also confirmed the theory on Blue and pink which gave a good idea of what was happening.
"Your first time too? and do you really think these events are that good a way to do this sort of thing?" she asked as she tried to figure where she came from. from there she could find a way out or port a half-mile to a mile straight up and hope for the best. opening a second portal to prevent any splattering like she did in the Infinite factory against Holocaust.

Kitty sighs a little ; she'd liked being home, being with her long time friends. Being with Piotr. Looking up to him, she shrugs apologetically. "Looks like the spontaneous date is over." she murmurs, taking his hand and squeezing it. "Sometimes this Duty thing really sucks."
After biding Piotr farewell, in appropriate M-rated fashion, Kitty goes searching for Logan, passing through public walls if need be.

Jen laughs lightly at Taby as she cuts loose on the dance floor. It was nice to relax and not have to worry about something or someone trying to do something intensely stupid. While she was letting herself go with the music, she spots the familiar flash of gold mask. Jen thought the drink she got had more kick than expected but, no, she was sure she saw Madam Masque. That couldn't be good at all.
Jen detaches from her little group and dances through the crowd, looking to see if she can locate Masque in the mass of heaving bodies.

Matt smiles, "I didn't see it on the list either on my first visit here. Then again, I didn't see anything that was on the list. The chef was quite angry that someone would come to his restaurant and order something like that. I understand the look on his face was something to see when he came out of the kitchen to yell at whoever had the nerve to order something not only not on the menu but something so American only to realize it was a blind man."
Matt smile and takes a sip of his glass, "the chef decided to indulge his new patron, and went and made some canned pasta as its called rather than come and tell me it wasn't on the menu. Since then we have talked and laughed about that story. And now, whenever I make a reservation, he makes some spaghetti noodles, by hand, just in case I order it. Tonight I leave that pleasure to you. I really think you like it. No one else gets to come in here and order that."

Kitty nods to Logan, offering a smile to the Professor. "I hadn't realized they had us on-call." she comments, holding up her cellphone and giving it a little twitch. "Hawkeye left me a text... Warehouse, Pub-side they're waiting I guess?"

Peter unceremoniously digs into his food as soon as it hits the table. "Oh, this is gonna be..." He looks at the food approaching his mouth before he puts his fork down. "Raw meat? Oh man..." He looks at what MJ is eating before forcing a bite of the steak tartare in to his mouth.

Professor Xavier nodded, "It should be good news, Moira is working on a project she won't tell me much about but she was very excited about it when we spoke earilier." He smiled as Kitty arrived," Hello Katherine, Logan was just telling how the two of you are enjoying your time with the Avengers." He looked at his watch,"Pardon me, but I shouldn't keep Moira waiting. Comme visit when you can." He began to roll his chair away towards his office.
[Aura and She-Hulk]
Aura's good time was having one adverse effect. Much of the dance floor was watching her as she danced. A waitress did pass with a glass that looked similar, but as she started to drink it, Melissa shouted, "Tally, No!" It was too late as the alcohol burned visiously as Aura took a drink.
As Jenn maneuvered through the crowd, she didn't get another good look at Masque, but she was positive she had seen another flash just before a woman dressed the same slipped into booth at the back by where one of the bouncers watched over the crowd.
[Captain America and Blink]
"come on lets...," Sharon started, as she passed, then stopped midstep," Steve?" She sounded confused,"What are you doing here? You mean that really is Stark holding center court?"
The guy that had approached Blink hesitated in answering," I have no idea if these things work or not. My sister gave me a pass to try it. I'm Chris" He said, a little braver sounding.
[Spiderman and Daredevil]
"didn't you know what you were ordering?"Mary Jane snickered as she took a tasting bite of her chicken cordon bleu. "Mmm, you should have gotten this. Relax, they wouldn't serve it if it wasn't good."
As Peter tried it, his spider sense went off for just a split second, and then stopped, but he was pretty sure it wasn't the tasty but still raw beef he had in his mouth.
Tabitha chuckled slightly at Matt's story. "I'm suprised they don't add it to the menu with some fancy name."
As she took a drink of water, a break in the buzz of voices let Matt's enhanced hearing pick up a familiar voice again, but this time he was sure he heard Mystique speaking somewheres in the room.

Tally halts immediately and makes a face of pure disgust. To be sure she goes to sniff before she realizes that she has no sense of smell. Being down to the sweet, sour, bitter and salty. This one unlike the cherry coke was not just sweet. Looking at Melissa and confused she comes down fully for a landing. "This one does not taste the same? Is that what alcohol tastes like?" She says as she hands over the drink to Melissa.
