"Thank you." Jenn says, accepting the drink and sipping it. "I think we need a table, than we hit the dance floor. I don't want to lug a glass around with me every where."
She looks about for a table and points out a free one; at least for the moment. "Over there ladies, I spy a proper seating arrangement."
Jenn waves the other ladies on as she starts over to it.

Tally happy that these people at least are paying attention to her needs, but without thought flies over to the spotted table to get there first and make sure no one beats them to the table and without thinking that flying is probably not something most commonly seen in here.
Once there, "Got it." She says while waiting for the rest to approach.

Kitty nestles herself against Piotr, accepting the kiss and returning it eagerly; unfortunately the chirp of her cell tugs at her attention. With a frustrated sigh she draws back from the big x-man, offering an apologetic look. "If it's not important.." she murmurs, promising. With that, she reaches into her back pocket for the phone, tugging it out and checking the little screen to see who it's from..

"Hmm I think I get what the necklace colour means..." she thought noticing the blues one headed to her. She could stay hidden and port out but the risk waas rather large since she had no idea where she was or there stance on mutants. Last thing she needed was to square off against a Sentinal...or worse.
So she looked around near the entrance she at then stepped out. Hey if she had partied with the Guardians of the galaxy and then getting out this room with dignity intact was very possible. Blink wasn't sure what was going on yet..but she got a few intergalactic phone numbers while 'clubbing iiiin spaaaaace!' so this should be nothing to be worried about. It didn't feel dangerous.
"I can't help getting this feeling I'm being put on display somehow..." she thought with so few pink necklaces and so many blue.

DD shook his head, "Mr. Parker doesn't know anything, so feel free to ignore him. As for why I am here with you, why not? Tabitha, your an amazing woman, and I know you had a difficult life, but you have risen above it. You have fought through all hardships and risen as a strong vibrant woman. A man would be a fool not to want to know more. Not to want to get closer."
He takes a sip from his glass and says, "not to mention, from what I can tell, you where the hell out of that dress," his lips curling into a smile behind his glass.

"Very funny, Matt." Tabitha replied, toying with her water glass. She was trying to relax, though her uncomfortableness was hard to miss. "So, what's good to eat here?" She opened the menu and stared at it,but said nothing. "Matt? I don't know what any of this stuff is."she added, clearly embarassed.
The waiter returned, "Have you had a chance to decide?" He smiled
Mary Jane snapped her fingers a couple times. "Earth to Peter. You still with me, or looking to swing out of here?" she didn't look impressed as she folded her arms.
[Captain America and Blink]
As Tony was holding down center court, with a group growing around him, Steve made his way into the darkened room. One of the pink glow bracelets approached. "Is it just me, or is this a lot more awkward than the brochure made it sound? How did you end up here?" A woman's voice asked in the darkness.
As people moved about, Blink dicovered there were more pinks than she had originally thought. Most were flocking to the middle where one blue was holding court. She thought she heard the name Stark and one of the voices in the dark was familiar. [roll perc next post]

"Yes of course, Logan."Charles replied, turning to face Logan. "Scott has expressed some concerns about you and Kitty joining the Avengers, but I think it is a wonderful opportunity."

Melissa was about to say something when Jen spoke up. Around them, everyone had stopped what they were doing and looked at Aura. Melissa held her arms out looking at folks,"What? You folks act like it isn't normal around here."She laughed. The DJ changed the track to something up beat and infective, and the dance floor started filling up in a hurry. Mel looked at the other two, "Well?"

Kitty sighs a little, drawing back and as she peers down at the phone. Damned thing... I should just zap it.. she thinks, a little grumpy. Even still, she checks to see what the text reads..

Blink stopped a second and started to listen abit more intently..but losing track of the name and any voices she decided a quiet covert exit would help. there had to be one...somewhere.
It was simple idea but one she figured may work. she located a wall and followed untill a door was found or a window...then she could atleast see to port out. She also half considered dropping the pink necklace; though with out it she may get the police or security on her. They did actually come out here to have fun. "I guess I shall go keep her company, hm?" She waves and heads out after Tally to the dance floor. |
