"I wonder if we can swipe the expense card, you know, to properly attire everyone." Jen said, conspiratorily. The idea of going shopping greatly appeal to Jen and she laughs, catching the keys and heading for the garage to pick out their ride for the evening.
"Hmm, too flashy, that makes us look like we're over compensating, that one makes us look desperate." Jen says as she looks at the cars. "Oh, there we go."
Jen picks out a sporty number that can fight all three and have a little room to stretch out in. Once inside and ready to go she ignites the engine and revs to blow out the cobwebs before talking off for the Warehouse.
"We are so going to have fun tonight."

Tally takes a look at the outfit, having never worn a dress or had any clothes that cost more then $30 dollars before. "This should be fun then, and I am ready to go. Well I think." She says having no real input other then what the other two girls say.
(Too bad DJ - Sasq no longer dj's at the warehouse. Mind you the warehouse closed 3 years ago, rofl)

Steve sighs, resigned to Tony's plans for the evening. He looks up at the club. "Do you own this one or are you just a regular?" As he steps out of the car. Wearing his usual slacks and button down shirt, he looks frankly casual for a nightclub crowd.

DD says, "if the dress is bothering you that much, I'm sure we can find some time to divest you from it. For the moment though you'll need it as we are going to [gm insert name here]. I know your uh.. new in town so this is a pretty high end place. I think you will like it, and if not, we'll leave and go to Gray's Papaya."
He then knocks on the window and tells the cabbie the place they are going.
Then leaning back into the seat and says, "I am glad we found the time to do this."

If it ever comes down to it, and I'm not in a fight with the Avengers, I'll do my best to be there. As for those injuries, go lay down for a bit, I'll take a look around the compound for you, make sure everything's alright."

Peter looks up to see who nudged his chair and sees the nice suits. He looks back at MJ and says "This is a really classy place. I...uh...thanks. It's really nice and you look really lovely tonight." He tries his hardest to stop being nervous about sticking out like a sore thumb and to enjoy the evening.

Peter felt something else in his stomach as he looked closer at the man that had nudged his chair. He was walking away from the Parkers, but there was no mistaking the shape of his head, Spiderman had tangled with Hammerhead too many times not to. With his two companions, Peter saw Hammerhead move out of site to a large boothed table at the back of the room.
At the same time, Mary Jane smiled at Peter's compliment, "Peter, what's is it? you're acting like something's wrong? "she asked softly as she put a hand on top of his. ""Relax Tiger, you know I wouldn't do this if we couldn't swing it, right? We deserve a night out like this from time to time."
[Wolverine & Shadowcat]
"I'll be fine, Logan, just sore." Scott replied, seeming a bit relaxed with Logan's answer. " They might have had our powers, but not our powers and experince. their Logan didn't stand a chance against Rogue once she lost her temper. HAd your mentality though," he forced a chuckle as he raised his shirt to reveal the bandage on his side, blood soaking through it from three distinct claw marks, " came at me first. "
He glanced out the window, "I guess as long as you're looking out for her, I won't say anything about Kitty going with you. I doubt I could talk her out of it anyways, but I have to ask." He looked back at Logan, " This daughter I've heard about, what's you're take on this whole thing?"

[She Hulk and Aura]
Melissa shrugged, "What? Two trips to Europe wasn't fun?" She smirked as got in the back of the car. "Jenn, please don't hulk out in the car, I'm not sure I can get a field up in time in a tight space like this to keep from getting squished back here." She laughed.
Once Tally was in and they were on their way, Melissa said, " I don't see why we counldn't get approval to get a wardrobe. It's not like we have to worry about her going crazy like Janet would. " Melissa leaned up between the seat," What you think Tally? "
Before long, they arrived at the Warehouse. Once a textiles factory, the huge building now housed several unnamed establisments under one roof, seperated by soundproof walls. As they approached the club entrance, a line was already formed of people waiting to get into the busy spot. One of the two bouncers saw the trio approaching, and waved them passed the line. A brute of a man looked at the bouncers and protested, "Hey! They can wait like the rest of us! What makes them so special?"
The bouncer holding the door smiled," None of your damned business." He looked at Jenn and MElissa," Evening ladies, brought a friend with? Have a good time." He opened the door for them.
Inside, the place was filling up, with techno music pumping and a DJ up on the raised dias firing up the crowd.
[Captain America]
Tony shook his head. "Never been here before, but it sounded fun." As they got out of the Zonda and walked inside, Tony put his arm around Steve's shoulder. " Relax. we have a little fun. If it turns out we don't like it, we got hook up with Erik and Clint, okay?"
Inside, was a small reception counter. The man behind it looked at them," Yes gentleman, do you have an appointment or looking to make one?"
"No we have one. Stark." Tony replied.
The receptionist looked at his list. " Oh yes. Salon B, you are almost too late, the session begins in three minutes. Each choose an unnocupied cubicle, lock anything of value in the safe provided and take the key with you. No personal items are allowed inside once the session begins. Instructions will be provided before the session starts. Please enjoy your event." The clerk smiled.
As he turned towards the cubicles, Tony leaned over to Steve, " I think he was checking you out, big guy." Stark grinned, looking at five cubicles marked unnoccupied. Tony stepped into on, dimly lit from movie theater style lighting. " Come on, relax and try something new."
Tony closed himself in the room.
[Daredevil]
"You have everything planned, I'm not going to change things on you now." Tabitha said, clearly uncomfortable as she tried to relax.
The driver nodded and pulled away," Sotello's? You got it." The cab pulled away
ten minutes later, they came to a stop. Outside a door man opened to door for Tabby. She got out and from the doorway offered a hand to Matt to get out. She spoke lowly, but his hearing made it easy to hear her, " I'm glad we're doing this too, but I've never been anywhere's like this before. Last date I ever went on was splitting a tub of ice cream in an abandoned section of subway tunnels. My kind wasn't welcome in fancy spots like this back home."

Kitty for a half-moment considers ignoring Piotrs call-out to her, but then gives her head a shake; it was Scott she was angry at, of course, not him. Stopping, the young woman sighs a little and half-turns to face him, tilting her gaze up to meet his.
When Piotr takes her hands, she gives his a weary squeeze. "Wrong reason? How do you mean?" Kitty inquires, frowning just a little. "Besides I'll always be an X-Man, and probably never more than a guest of the Avengers." she adds, tone firm.
At the question of what Tabby is like, Kitty gives her head another little shake. "So differant from what I could imagine, I suppose, yet very much so at the same time. Confident, independant.. she had to grow up very quickly in her time." here Kitty pauses, considering her next words. "She and I spent some time talking one evening, before heading to deal with Baron Zemo.. er.. senior I guess. It was a little odd, but I think we got past that quickly enough."
Another pause, then a sad little smile. "I'd have liked to know more about her childhood.. and more about what happened to *us*."

Tally smiles at the girls try to seemingly cheer her up. "I would love a wardrobe or clothes of my own that were not second handed. Mind you I would also not mind learning how to use a computer but that can wait as well."
Once they get to the club she actually wonders the exact same thing that the patron in line says about what makes them special. But all of that melts away and her jaw drops at the sight before her. "This is almost exactly like what is on that channel x-eee did not let me watch. MTV or something. Actually where I got most of the skills dancing. Although the one time X-eee walked in she said I had potential."

"Yeeah, lets try not to wind up on MTV." Jen says, "I so don't want to hear another lecture from Cap about duty and responsibility, and trying to set a proper example, etc."
Jen comes off as one whose heard all those lectures involving one of those topics or another. Might be fun now to get up into some mischief but there is probably someone waiting in the wings to pounce to be a buzz kill.

DD pulls out his wallet and asks the cabbie how much is the fare. He feels along his money and pays the fare along with a generous tip.
Climbing out of the car, he takes Tabby's offered hand, after missing it twice on purpose for the benefit of the others around. Rising to his feet he says, "I hope you enjoy tonight."
He keeps his walking stick folded up and allows her to lead him to the door. Once in when the hostess speaks up, he says, "reservation for Murdock."

Slight upturn of the lips in a smile. "I see he does good work." Opens the fridge again, takes out a second and third beer, pops both open and hands one to Scott.
"Narrow the field, Scott. Plenty of daughters out there. If you mean X-23, that's good question I'd be hard pressed to answer."

Scott hesitated, then accepted the beer with a chuckle. "Not yours, I mean this Ghostsabre. Her name keeps coming up with Piotr all the time so he obviosly is thrown off by her being here, not to mention Kitty running off with you to the Avengers because of her. What's your take, is this on the up and up, or just another attempt by one of our enemies to get into the good guy's heads?" He took a long drink," Beleive it or not, I'll trust your instincts on this one."
Piotr nodded as he pulled Kitty close, " I know that part, she told me when I first met her at the helicarrier crash before we found you. This Overlord that rules her world attacked Genosha while we were there. she said we had been told we were infected by the Brood before the missile hit, but either way..." his voice trailed off.
With her hands in his, Piotr put his forehead to Kitty's. "Listen to Logan, I know he won't let anything happen to you." He smiled slightly as his voice softened," I think Tabitha is a good name for a daughter, don't you think?"

MAtt could feel a nervous clench in Tabitha's hand as they entered Sotelo's. The hostess nodded and smiled," Of course, and welcome back Mr. Murdock. We have your favorite table waiting if you and the young lady would follow me?"
There was a swallow before Tabby spoke up while she took the lead, "Of course," and followed along ,feigning he needed her help. There were a couple of familiar voices as they passed tables that said hello to Matt. They reached their table and the maitre'di spoke, "Enjoy your meal, your server will be with you in a few minutes."
Once they were alone, " Matt? What the heck are we doing here? This place is far too fancy for me!" As she spoke, it was clear she had recognized someone in the nearly full restaurant.
"Peter, would you relax?" MJ said, sounding half like a scolding. As she said it, he noticed beyond Hammerhead and his associates there was another familiar face. At the table that had been reserved, he noticed Tabitha was looking in his direction.
[SheHulk and Aura]
"Are you two kidding? MTV isn't going to touch us, we're too old" Melissa laughed. " I'm going to the bar for a Coke. what do you two want? Aura, no alcohol for you." She was walking away but listening.
As Mel slipped away, a trio of young guys approached, all three clearly under the influence. " Hey ladies, wanna dance?"
[Captain America]
Tony flash his trademark smile as he looked around his door," No idea. The ad just claimed it was a unique experience to meet new people. See you on the other side." He stepped into one of the booths and closed the door. The door popped back open and his head stuck around it," Would you relax. Get in there." The door closed again.

Tally looks utterly confused, "Too old. I am two years old and look about the same age if not younger. But that is ok." She says in response to the first part before thinking and asking. "Something swee...." She is about to say before she realizes the issue not knowing if liquid is going to be accepted when food is not.
Still while thinking she does not even pay attention to the goings on of the three men.
