Ooops, mind you Deci's post still stands save the bunker part.  Deci still being tentative on the thing although not likely as most use gloves she still hovers knowing she is not a CSI but moves off to let the others look while she goes off to see if there is anything else of use around. |

Curious, Siobhan makes her way over to where Deci is; seeing the 'emergency shelter' she frowns. "Looks like some sort of alien containment thing you might see on X-Files.." she murmurs to herself, a little puzzled. Looking back to where Avi is, she shrugs a bit. "What would they be recovering that would need a heli that large?"

Alice frowns when she sees the emergency shelter, unsure of what they would want it for. She feels a bit uneasy when she guesses, "If they thought it was myself and Jason in the cabin, perhaps they were planning on taking our bodies after they struck?" Jason nodded, "That's possible, but....."
Avi looked up from examining where the helicopters had landed. "but what Jas?"
" You don't use these shelters to recover a body. They are to protect you from extreme heat. they aren't perfect, and the people using them would still be at very least, suffering from the worst tanning booth burn they ever heard of, but they could survive. Trevor said the coroner didn't have her body, right?"
Avi shook his head," Jason this is crazy. Are you saying you've seen this done?"
"Seen it?" Jason shook his head," Nope. But I used one once during wildfire season in California when I was doing Mac's black ops." He pointed to the ash that hadn't been disturbed before they had. "And if the one in the other shelter was a flyer, that would explain no tracks."
Avi looked at the others, " This is getting weirder."

Deci is happy that one of her theories could of been right and still in the air and not touching the ground. "It would not be so weird if you consider the fact that they may have purposely set this up for one reason or another. Some people are evil enough to plan from the beginning to this depth. Others may be getting desperate especially after one side may have received a decisive leg up on the other." Siobhan feels more and more out of the loop, as apparently the others have possible ideas of who might be behind what is going on, and how, and other such W's. Giving her head a shake, she looks to the others.
"So the running theory is that someone was here, but managed to leave without being discovered, and that is someone that we, or rather you, thought was dead?"

"Maybe." Jason nodded. "Hear me out. The Brethren, or whoever put what's left of them, thought Alice and I were here. I can guarantee they want to strike back at us after the kicking they took when he rescued Deci. So they intended to capture at least one of us alive, probably Alice, and make it look like we died in the fire. Instead, Trevor and Allison were here. They wanted to get back at Allison for deserting, so they took her, and made it look like she was the one that was killed. Not hard to plant a phoney corpse for someone like Trevor to find if yyou don't know what to look for. After said and done, they set it up to look like Trevor was responsible and picked up Allison and her captor once the place was clear. Make sense?

Siobhan nods at that. "Clear and concise, and making a ton of sense. I don't know much about these Brethren, aside from the fight the other day, but they don't seem like the sort we'd want to leave a friend with." here Sio hesitates. "I'm assuming we consider Allison a friend?"
Here Sio looks to Deci. "Any ideas on where we might find these Brethren?"

Deci stops at the question, "I would not being the person most out of contact with this city. Unless they were foolish enough to go back to the warehouse we were at. Or wanted to start there to see if any clues were left behind to their other known hideouts. Although I will be honest in not really wanting to go back there."

Sio nods apologetically. "Understandable, I'm sure the memories are bad." she murmurs, tone gentle. "Somehow I don't think confronting the mayor would be a good idea either." the blonde heroine adds. Looking to the others, Sio frowns. "And there was indication that the hospital was a dead end.."

"Well someone was inside and made it out alive." Avi said, looking around. Anything else we need to do here?"
"Yeah, give me a couple minutes." Jason said, walking away from the others towards the out buildings. He returned about five minutes later carrying a small trunk. "Okay, ready." He put it in the trunk, and tossed Avi the keys. " You can drive back." and got in the back seat.
" Guess we're headed back to the city." Avi said, getting in, " unless you ladies want to sightsee around the swamp?" he smirked

"I actually would not mind taking some time doing an aerial on the swamp to see if anything was missed. I should not take long and can easily make it back to the base on my own. If I go high enough and get some aerial pics we might get both an idea of what they saw and what way maybe they went." Deci offers just as an alternate idea. Looking around the nearby portion of the swamp, Sio wrinkles her nose and gives her head a shake. "I'll pass on the tour I think.. but thanks for the offer." she replies, amused. Moving smoothly, she takes her place in the vehicle, one of the backseat positions.

Alice considers December's suggestion and nods, "Sure, do a quick discreet look around." Alice wasn't as keen on the idea of leaving December on her own to fly in plain sight back to the base, so she smiles in a friendly manner and says, "Since it won't take too long, we can wait until you're done. I don't want to leave anyone out here by themselves. There's always the chance whomever did this could come back to see if they missed anything."
