The ride into the everglades was fast, but it was also gripped with tension between Avi and Jason, though by the time they got to the camp, either everyone was used to it or it had passed. Jason parked the vehicle in the driveway, and pulled off his sunglasses, but said nothing as he got out.
The cabin was destroyed, only burned timbers and twisted metal remained in a blackened heap. Avi broke the silence with a muted, " Where do we start?"

Wrinkling her nose at the smell, Siobhan surveys the wreck for a long moment, doing her b est to take search for small details.
"Was the location properly examined by the police and fire department at all? Did they settle on a cause of the blaze?" she asks, before moving a little closer.

"Öh we know the cause of the blaze." Jason said. " They confirmed arson, but now instead of blaming Trevor, they have it listed as unsolved." He was clearly unnerved by his tone as his hand slid into Alice's for comfort.
As Deci took her pictures, she noticed something unusual. Like the snow in the antarctic, the ashes were disturbed by investigators, but only on one side of the structure's remains.
As Siobhan backed out of the way, she hapened to glance towards where Avi was standing. On either side of him were to sets of parrallel indentations in the ground roughly eight feet long where something heavy had sat .

Deci noticing the oddity, "Excuse me people but it seems here that there was a huge area missed in the investigation possibly. There is no disturbance in the ashes back here like there are in the front." And after announcing that she raises herself up and hovers so as not to make a mess at all and see if anything else can be seen using zoom feature on camera to get best possible view when needed[rand=94146536127356742153020976117978650558799462424247649614913757704]

Siobhan looks to where Deci had indicated, looking to see if there were any marks similar to the indentations she'd noticed near Avi, then pointing out the marks she'd seen.
"There may have been something large and heavy laying here.. or perhaps dragged through here." she notes aloud.

Alice squeezes jason's hand gently and smiles at him weakly. Alice moves over to where Deci had said she'd seen something that could have been missed by the invesigation. "Good catch." she says to Deci as she examines it curiously.

Avi walked over by Siobhan and looked, then rested his hand on her shoulder. "Now dragged, or there would be drag marks on either end. Something heavy was sitting.... come over here for a sec." He walked over to the other side where a second set of smaller but similar marks. He looked up, " Anyone have any idea who the second helicopter belonged to? Sio just found the skidmarks."
"The what?" Jason tried and failed to hold in a chuckle
"The landing spot, stupid."
As Deci looked from above and Alice and Jason from the ground, Alice could see that the ashes were indeed undisturbed. Jason said, "That's weird, the rotor wash should have stirred up the ashes. Unless... they both had to have taken off before the fire was out."
From overhead, Deci could see from overtop that the ashes that there was a spot in the middle that was disturbed. It looked tramped down and as if something was removed.

Snapping multiple pictures just in case her cohorts are nowhere near as careful. Once done she calls to the rest. "Remember there are also more ways for things to fly that do not disturb the ash. Especially for those of us that use anti-gravity to fly. On top of that if someone were strong enough or other methods were used it may not disturb. Alice shakes her head at Avi and says, "I didn't find any record of a second helicopter." When Deci points out that it looked like something had been moved where she is taking pictures, Alice looks at it to try to see if it looks familiar.

Sio moves to follow Avi, peering at the marks in the earth. "What could have..." she starts, then trails off. "Ahh, yes I suppose they could well be helicopter skids." Sio comments in agreement, then nods to Jason.

Avi spoke up," These are definitely helicopter skids. A bigger one too, maybe a Huey, judging by the length. what kind does the mayor have?" To Siobhan, it looked like ther had been several people stomping arounf the chopper.
"Just an R66. Little four man cockpit model. I caught it when Alice was looking." Jason replied, sounding puzzled.
Avi looked at the others," I'm thinking Trevor may be right and this was the recovery team."
As Deci looked, she found something familiar in the disturbed area. An emergency shelter like she had seen used in Antartica by researchers. She also remmebered it could be used for extreme heat too.

"We have a bunker here that could of been used to survive heat here. I would recommend we search for fingerprints more on the inside then out as there is a chance that the heat would of removed any form of trace element." Not knowing anything about helicopters, Sio makes her way over to where Deci is, to take a look at this emergency shelter dealy curiously - assuming that the door is locked, Sio checks to see if there is some sort of mechanical opening (such as a handle of some sort) or an electronic mechanism (keypad or card swipe).
