"A little experience and a lot of practice and you could catch me." Jason said with a bit of a smirk as he got up from his seat against the guard rail. "You wanna go ask that cop what he clocked you at back there? Now, when the car gets here, we drive back casual and plan our next step with some energy burned off. you tired?"
"And you expect any different out of Jas?" Avi chuckled but stopped quickly as he Deci change directions. "Aww crap, where is she going? Hang on, see if you can talk sense."
He swung the SUHV along side her on Alice's side
Deci could see the hover SUV pull up beside her as she headed towards the city.

"What am I doing? I am heading back to the beach house as you last instructed seeing we are heading to interview Raig's." She says while still maintaining her speed and course. "I have no hope of out running the two on the ground and apparently am slower then this vehicle going at top speed so I was going in a straight line to see if I could win the race using as the bird flies compared to the road travelled. Unless I heard the instructions wrong?" She says recalling what was said.

Sio laughs, then gives her head a shake. "Tempted, but I don't think that'd be wise of me.." she responds, then winks at the question. "Tired? Hell no.. it takes a lot more than that to wear me out..." the blonde responds with amusement. "It was nice to burn off at least a little energy though.. I was starting to get antsy." Sio then adds with a little shrug.
When the HSUV arrives, Sio will offer a smile to those inside before slipping into the back seat and buckling up. "Home, James!"

"Funny, you were huffing and puffing when you stopped." Jason replied, shielding his eyes as he looked up at the approaching SUHV. He scowled as it didn't seem to be descending to pick us up. "What the hell are they doing?"
Avi looked at Alice, then spoke loudly, "Deci, you can't fly across the city. You will draw way too much attention. Why do you think Jason only wanted to race out of the swamp? Not many people around those roads and why he stopped before we get back to the pavement. Come on, get in so we can pick them up and get back. Then you can talk to Raig, okay?" He lowered his voice, "Alice, you aren't going to let het fly back, are you? I gotta get down, the others are waiting."

Alice waits til Avi is finished talking and nods and tells December gently, "He's right. It would attract too much attention if you flew across the city back to the beach house. Please get back into the vehicle so we can pick the others up and head back to the beach house."

Deci getting frustrated at some things that seem to be allowed especially with a flying car not being all that common anywhere and yet a flying girl would apparently stick out like a sore thumb. "I would almost rather walk seeing no one will let me have a window... but you are the leader and will respect your decision." At which point she hesitantly tries to get back in the vehicle and sits in the back closing her eyes and saying a mantra, "The walls are not closing in, the walls are not closing in." All the while trying to keep her powers in check.

"Huffing and puffing! Not a chance!" Sio squeeks in reply, giving Jason a playful shove. "I wasn't even close to huffing and puffing!"
As the HSUV passes by, Sio waves at it.. "Maybe they forgot about us..."

" What is this all about?" Avi said. looking at Deci in the rearview before glancing over at Alice. The SUHV descended along side Jason and Sio just as the police car from the speed trap rolled passed. It stopped and the officer asked, " You folks happen to see which way a couple of crotch rockets turned when they hit the pavement?"

December hears the people talking to her, but realizes she is fighting to keep control of her fear, "Yes...well no. I am having trouble being in this confined space. It reminds me of what happened..." She trails off realizing that they do not all know what happened and not sure if the suggestion for psychiatric help was given or if it fell on deaf ears.
When the vehicle lands she almost debates jumping out the window but fights to best of ability, "Why I had the window open as it was helping. That was until I was asked to close it."

"I will try my best then. Thank-you." Still not wanting to enter the vehicle but trying to make the best of a situation and even getting into the vehicle.

As the police car approached, Sio shot a cautious glance towards Jason; at the question from the officer she gave her head a little shake. "Uh... I didn't see anything.. how fast were they going?" she asks, as mildly as she can. While waiting for an answer, the blonde heroine enters the SUV... hearing December and Alice's conversation, she makes a point of letting Deci have a window seat.
